Anyone is better than that insufferable douche that was with stapes or tuchman during session one. Why was he brought back?

I'm not familiar with Richard Gayler but his commentary has been excellent today

Runchucks and Gayler are great co-commentators.

They're not gonna be able to keep everyone happy with regards to the main commentator. Stapes & Tuch are both fine imo. Stapes was phenomenal on the last day of the Veni challenge.

Phil just posted a $300k session. About even the day before after being up $180k at one point during the session. The ActionFreak match is shaping up to be much swingier than the one vs Veni.

Any reason why they picked such a weird stake instead of 20k or 40k?

No stack reset going to make this one bananas after a 5 hour sesh.

My guess is they wanted to play higher than 20K but thought 40K was too high.

one of the simplest yet impossible things to do with the **** runitonce software. the runitonce youtube channel is terrible as well. The live stream is unwatchable imo. The youtube channel should just show top 3-10 hands of day with breakdown from some commentator of the hand of a length of 10-15 minutes. Instead we get inane commentary from live crew with a 30 minute recap of some hands? Terrible.

This challenge is cool yet the people working for runitonce are incompetent.

I think the Action Freak match has the same reset conditions as the VeniVidi match had.

Based upon a very small sample, it appears that AF may be a little less "anal" about stack resets than VV was, but I don't think there will be many hands played with 200+BB effective stacks throughout this match.

Somebody on YT has put together the best highlights everyday. Just search Galfond challenge Day X and it'll pop up. Bout 45 mins a piece usually.

So you think that going 50 buyins down and then winning 50 buyins back to basically tie is going to be less swingy than a +6, -6, +10 match that we have had so far? 50+/50- is a crazy swing. 10 isn't.

I really think you are just seeing the bigger numbers, they are playing 150/300 and the numbers just look inflated. It hasn't been too swingy yet.

Last match averaged about 650 hands per day, the two full days so far have been 900 hands, each. so the day to day swings look bigger, but they aren't.

How so? He´s not even funny, in my opinion. And once you have heard 100 terrible jokes of his in a row, you will struggle to pick up the one gem that may be hidden somewhere.

He means well and has a genuine love for the game. Probably not making much money off this gig either.

He does a solid job

I had the impression as well that stacks are going in more often in this match so far. Did not watch too much though.

we can blame the ACTIONfreak for that.

From what I've seen the set ups are standard so far. 5 bet aces vs aces, set + fd vs sd +fd all in on the flop or turn. 50/50's a lot of the time. The swings might be bigger because the players haven't seemed to mind playing +200bb, which is quite fun for the rail birds.

200k pots are possible, but that's just 3.5 buyins. Lol at "just 100k+" for each in the middle.

this will get pretty exciting obviously, can it top match 1?

For people asking about highlights, this is what you want. 40-50 minute highlights of the biggest hands every day, with the commentary from the stream and hole cards added where available. usually gets them up within a couple of hours of play finishing too. shout out to moonlightmaster if he's on here:
