Sorry if this is the wrong place but let’s Gossip about funny degenerate stories…

I’ll go first…

I’m at Foxwoods playing the lol donkament. My poker acquaintance is his usual broke self. I decide to give him a hand out and invest in him in the tourney.

Straight up 50-50 profits plus buyin no payback. The old free roll for him.

What does any good degen do?

So I bust the lol donkament… and go to play cash.. things are going well I recouped both lol buyins and am in the black for the night.

My buddy is running deep there’s 2 tables left he’s in the money. Yay min cash.

Then I get this feeling in my gut. Some may call it instinct or soul read. I know something isn’t right.

So I go to check the tournament it’s down to the final table and my buddy is no where to be found.

It should be mentioned buddy of mine is a total degen. You know the type not even be able to buy into a small lol donkament. The type to play slots bc they’re “due” to hit the next bonus. (I’ve tried telling him that’s now how it works btw, the slots admit that they have 96% return and even brag bc that’s considered high)

So back to the story..

I rush to his go to slot spots where I know where to find him.

Now if anyone knows fw they know it’s basically 3 separate casino floors w slot banks on all of them. So I go to the 2nd possible spot. Don’t see him at first…

He was hiding in the back corner behind machines where he wasn’t visible. I guess not being visible is the same as hiding but I digress.

Long story short.. I basically have to yell at him like a petulant child (him not me) in order to save my tourney buy in from going into the slot machine.

Of corse degen is miserable from min cashing tournament.

He had no intention of paying me the 50-50 profits and was about to dust the tourney buy in as well.

Luckily my gut instinct is always on point and the buy in was saved that day!

Unfortunately your gut instinct was wrong from the beginning when you staked the degen the buyin.

True but he did cash!
