This is very new news to me, I assume to others as well. I wonder if Team Pro players expected this?

Team Full Tilt is just the owners and not the rakeback pros playing 1/2 right?

That's a good question.

Where does someone like Tom Dwan fit in? To my knowledge he wasn't an owner, but was way more than a rakeback pro.

Is having the standard 27% rakeback on my account considered being an "affiliate"? I'm wondering if the PPA knows the answer to this

Wow so Mekhi Phifer can't get his funds?

Oh wait I emptied his account 2 nights before Black Friday anyway.

LOL. Tom Dwan gets nothing. Nor should he get anything. It will be time for him to come out of pocket for his bull**** guarantee soon, as well.

All hell is about to break loose, just like many here have suggested for years. All of the phoney transfering back and forth will result in ZEROES, as most doing that were affiliates, full tilt pros, or getting paid through Full Tilt.

This is going to be fun. Lol to the people who bought Full Tilt Money. We tried to warn you. The person you bought from most likely will be getting the big goose egg.

Do you finally realize how silly you looked by having the PPA demand that the DOJ convert player points to cash. I mean, that was the funniest thing I had EVER seen in my 93 years on this earth. Wow....lol. In all 93 years, I had never seen anything as ridiculous as the PPA stating that they told the DOJ that players were "expecting" points to be turned into cash.

Haha.

Goldman Sachs was hired to figure out the cash value of each FTP point. That explains the 2.5 year delay in getting paid back.

I still can't believe people bought FTP money from other players. You might as well play Russian roulette with all the chambers full.

Bravo, PPA. Good job, good effort! Would you do the poker community a favor and please close up shop after this is over?

I felt this might be happening. What took the DOJ so long was they were trying to figure out how to lock up as much of this money as possible. Many of the larger rolls had deals with FT, so are they going to forfeit?

This is going to get spicy, and I wouldn't doubt it if you see some sort of litigation after this is over. Because you have an affiliate contract with FT, doesn't give you co-conspirator liability.

I'd feel better about this if the SDNY's office actually did better than 1 guilty plea. With Howard particularly, they got him for maybe 10% (and probably closer to 5%) of what he made from FT.

As always, the players will pay the bulk of the forfeiture. Outrageous. I was expecting stiff, there's a better justification for stiff than what DOJ presented, but not for this bull**** reason.

We warned you. Everyone has been thinking for 30 months that this would/should be easy. Reasonable minds said that people were "dreaming", and we laughed at the suggestion/whining that points be turned into cash (cackle cackle cackle hehehehe).

We further laughed when people tried to establish a phoney market to try to scam others into buying their phoney Full Tilt Money that they will NEVER get.

Finally some justice in the world, and a wake up call to all of those who victimized the poker public, including those associated with Full Tilt with large bankrolls on the site.

You deserve to get ZERO if you in any way profited from your scam affiliate campaigns where you led people to slaughter, or were in any other way associated with Full Tilt.

When is Tom Dwan gonna pay out his guarantee? Lol. Geniuses.

All this is going to do is tie up everyone's money even longer. There will definitely be litigation/injunctions filed on behalf of some of the affected groups.

No. You are a player that was signed up by an affiliate but you are not an affiliate if you were solely the recipient of the 27%.

ROW affiliate accounts did not get their money so this is not new with respect to affiliates.

But, players that were also affiliates were supposed to be paid their poker winnings, but not any affiliate money due.

Agreed, but I am not exactly sure how they administered the players who were also affiliates in determining which funds were which. I got nothing and I have not played FT since and will never spend a nickel on that site again.
