Not sure how it is supposed to be a good news..
Especially when the potential investors will realize that everybody friggin wants to cash out!

I don't think any of the three options is good, it is bad. The key for the new onwer is to have a deep, deep, deep pocket to make sure every one is able to cash out and rebuild confident to continue to play by dragging the cash out for another year or eat % of your bank roll when you cash out, it is a very bad idea

1. Investing part of their funds in company shares. This option had already been weighed as a way to reduce the amount of money needed to relaunch the business. Afterwards, players would be able to sell their shares back to FTP and therefore get all their funds back.

2. Cashout all their account balance with a PENALTY, which would mean a percentage of the whole balance. There is no information on how much this percentage would be.

3. Small cashouts that would unlock throughout time. FTP wouldn't charge anything for a player to recover their funds but it would take around a year.

Every1 says "they called me". Can you give some more info? For example, did you feel like english is their native language or french guys were calling?

I also got a call yesterday and I'm from Holland, so they are not only targeting Spanish players. I didn't get to the interview part because I hung up pretty fast when I heard what the subject was ^^

In my case it was a Dutch speaking girl with a Belgian accent. But Belgians are mostly bi-lingual and also speak French so it makes some sense.

Why are they only contacting these people? There should eventually be a phone number set up for those with large balances over a certain number. How about funds in limbo (checks) How about accounts which were suspended or locked with money in them?

Personally I'd be fine with small cashouts that unlock over time. I miss FTP software.

Maybe ( I asked earlier about this) they haven't got all of that old FTP account stuff really ready, and this is simply a test about players reactions to various offers and future operations of A new FTP

I would love to be able to play again earning my rakeback playing rush poker. I know that wont happen for an american though.

That's probably why they are calling major players from other countries. They know Americans will not be able to play and will rush (no pun intended) to the withdraw button. So in order to keep the site live it needs to keep the international money on hand for a certain period of time.

The time will allow for people to be comfortable again with Full Tilt and continue to play there.

To all those who thinks that somehow magically some investor with deep pockets is gonna pour $300+ million and ya'll can cashout as soon as FTP reopens...you're fricken dreaming. We will need to make concessions if we are ever to see a dime, there is no doubt about that. As far as I'm concerned any percentage above zero is better than nothing.

Like someone said, those who are criticizing the plan, wonder if they have money stuck in FTP?

Yep. Beggers can't be choosers - and lets be honest, we have ZERO power. Think of the survey as giving us some of the power back.

Personally I'd lead towards option b) just to get this over with. I mean, even if the penalty was at 30%, I bet most people with huge balances stuck would jump at that.

If you don't believe me, go offer to buy at .70c/dollar in the HSNL forum.

I think this is positive. He's probing for a consensus while he is so deep in negotiations with the DOJ. It makes little sense to pay a marketing company millions to conduct an international phone survey unless he was damn sure this was going to happen.

As long as there is a chance I will get my money back I dont give a **** if they have my phone number...
You all should be very aware of the fact that these crooks have your credit card information in addition to other personal data and that you might get duped one more time.

its highly recommended if you haven't already done so to block your credit card and get a new one before you get scamed again by these ****heads.

Not sure why people are saying he won't get a licence without all the cash. I believe he has the cash but there is a big difference between putting $300 Mil into an account and letting people have it a little at a time (with a good chance they spend some instead) and just handing out $300 Mil and hope that people re-deposit.

He's getting the company for a dollar so I don't think it would be too much wishful thinking that he would actually fund the active (ROW) player accounts, especially when doing so would seem to be the bare minimum to get re-licensed.

I anticipated him trying to make a deal with DOJ to pay U.S. players over time, but this isn't exactly the way to begin rebuilding the foundation of trust in the brand with his ROW customers.
