When other people got deadlines for their payment were any of them early? So if we are officially in the "end of October" now is it possible it'll be in the next couple of weeks or has it always been right around "deadline time "?

I am still regular disputed, not affiliate, no rakeback problems, just dispute over 10k but less than 20% of balance.

I can't believe it's Oct 1. such a big let down.

Lol.. it's never been around deadline time. Around deadline time we will be issued a new deadline.. most likely "Hopefully by the end of 2015"

Afaik this is the first time they have totally blown a deadline. The problem has been that deadlines are rarely given and are absurdly long when they actually are given. Even if they start the bank testing today (lol) that takes 2 weeks so we are already looking at the back end of October at best. God help the ppl who are expecting to be in this wave (everyone who is remaining?) and get deficiency notices instead. They will be lucky to be paid by the end of the Obama administration if at all.

I over 20% disputed, no affiliate, no rake back issues, less than 3K total. This sucks.

Hi all -- I just spoke my contact at DOJ AFMLS and learned that another batch is ready to be issued, but it could still be a few weeks till it hits player bank accounts. This next wave includes roughly 2,000 petitioners totaling $5.7M in funds. These are petitioners with disputed funds, those with missing info and those who they consider "new petitioners" (e.g. did not file with valid log-in credentials).

The remission has been approved. They expect about 1-2 weeks to transfer the money to GCG, then GCG will do its bank testing and finally, the money will arrive.

My contact says this leaves about 3,800 petitions unresolved. Most of them are “new petitioners” and there are some others, including pro-players, who are mixed into that bunch. There was no timeline provided for those final petitions, but the expectation was that they could all be done at once.

That is all the info I have for now. Be checking fulltiltpokerclaims.com for their official updates.

Has anyone received an email response this week?

I sent one early this week. They usually reply the next day.

I did get one more letter back in June, saying that my request has been labelled as "complex", and it might take a while. And, it might cost a lot of money, but they would contact me if it was going to be more than $25 I already agreed to by filing. Apparently the first 100 pages (/2 hours of work) are free, $40/hr + 5 cents a page after that.

I suppose they'll get back to me after I have my money, then ask if I want to spend $400 for the info...

The website has been updated. 1900 people included in this round, totaling 5.5 million. They went from 87% of petitions paid in the last round to 92% after this round. 5% in 5 months, sounds like a great pace for GCG. I better be included in this round. I have a call in to Chris and also an email, both of which have not been returned.

Is it just me or is Chris the only person from GCG working on all of our claims? That would explain why they have only increase the payouts by 5% in 5 months.

Chris has been the only person I have been in contact with also, last talked to him about two months ago. (I was tagged as affiliate due to rakeback, also did freak cashout day off that got lost in the ether).

I e-mailed them earlier today asking if I was included in this wave, just got this response.

Dear Robert,

Thank you for your email. The Department of Justice Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section has approved the next round of payments. You are included in this group. GCG is currently working with the bank selected by the DOJ to set up the payment process. GCG expects to issue payments by early November 2015, and will post further updates on the payment process as they become available. You will receive an email prior to payment being issued.

Regards,

I'm not thrilled about the early November estimate, but feels good to get confirmation that I'm in this wave. FYI I'm a regular dispute with >20% disputed.

Sounds pretty good, thanks John! The more time goes on, the more it seems to me that DoJ is responsible for the speed of this, not GCG.

What is a "pro-player"? Do you mean a red-pro?

If this wave is going out in november, I'd say there ~0% chance the rest of us see our money by end of the year. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, nothing gets done.
