Left a message for Brian....Christopher called back and reaffirmed payments yesterday and the day before were not end of q2 payments but that my case was with the DOJ for approval and there will be "multiple" subsequent waves

Dear Matt,

Thank you for your email. Your petition is in good standing and, if approved by the Department of Justice, you will be included in the next round of payments, which we expect will be issued by the end of the Second Quarter.

Please continue to check the administration website at www.fulltiltpokerclaims.com for information regarding future payments to approved Petitioners.

Regards,

That was my response from a week or so ago. Who knows?

Left voicemail for Brian, also sent an email to CS. Chris called back, left a voicemail.

It seems like I'm pegged for the Q2 wave... getting a little antsy as WSOP is right around the corner so sooner the better.

Thank you for your email. Please be advised that payments were issued on 5/13/15 to Petitioners who were approved for payment in the fourth round of distributions, but who needed to correct their banking information. Your petition is in good standing and, if approved by the Department of Justice, you will be included in the next round of payments which is anticipated to occur around the end of the 2nd quarter.

So I guess we'll see. I just want this nightmare to be over.
Yeah I got this too when trying to log in and I had already sent in everything that I needed to send in.

I spoke this morning with my DOJ AFMLS contact. Not a lot of new info, but some more clarity that might be helpful to some of you. The good news is that the previous (conservative) estimate for the next wave of remission to happen by August, was exactly that, conservative. They now believe that this next wave will happen between 30 and 60 days. The next wave covers approximately 2,000 players and $4m in funds.

There is no longer and threshold (20%, less than $2k dispute, etc) for approval of disputed claims. If they were able to match your dispute with data they recieved from FTP then you should be approved for remission. If that has not been resolved, you should be getting an email from Garden City in the next several weeks. There will be affiliates and those incorrectly tagged as affiliates paid in the next wave. However, there are still some "affiliate" accounts under review.

After this next wave, they expect about 5,800 outstanding petitions. Many of those are what they call "new petitions" i.e. someone made a claim through the website, but did so after the deadlines and they do not have log-in credentials or a profile. Garden City will be reaching out to those players (via email) to begin confirming them.

My contact could not say how many more waves it would take, but felt very good that everyone who is entitled to remission will be paid before the end of this year.

I dont expect to get much more info for at least a month. But if there are still some questions that you have, please let me know and I will about getting answers.

Proud to Play,

John A. Pappas

P.S. not sure if this was already discussed, but the payments made this week were leftover from the March wave. The people paid did not have correct bank info. ACH payments were made this week or checks were sent.

I spoke to a case specialist yesterday. I am in the >$2k, <20% camp. His message to me was very similar. Expect payment approximately by June 30th.

Fingers crossed!

Wtf is all this about people not having the correct banking info. Why does someone who can't put there ****ing info in correct and cause them more work and time get paid before me. The ******s should have been moved to the end of the line.

Was there any mention of a timeline for paying out former red pros? Or are those 8 figures of remissions going to be ignored forever?

are "remissions" and payments two different things? Does GCG send remissions for approval then a few months later they are approved for payment or does the DOJ send remissions to GCG for payment disbursement? It probably doesn't matter, it is what it is and we'll get our money eventually.

Thanks for everything John.

Haha, my wife's account was incorrect banking info and was delayed slightly but still paid out a while ago once I contacted them and gave the banking info again. I filled out her petition and I'm quite certain I entered correct info, altho it's possible I miskeyed something. I think it's much more likely that their was some error on their end, especially given how many people seem to have had incorrect banking info.

I agree tho that in general, people who submitted late or incorrect petitions should be at the end of the line.

No one should be moved to the end of the line. If there's an issue with banking info that person should be able to be paid once:

A. Their account is cleared to be paid
B. Their banking info is in working order.

The entire idea of waves for people who have already been approved is a bit ludicrous, and I honestly think that people being on them every day constantly is what got this "mini-wave" done.

Just talked with Christopher (he left me a VM after 6pm ET after I emailed info@), and he said my petition (disputed 6k on 24k) passed preliminary review and was sent to the DoJ for their final approval.

He then said he wasn't sure if I would be in the next wave or the one after that. Hopefully Christopher isn't really in the loop, and they are actually going to pay all the ones that were submitted at once.

Just called Brian, when he answered I asked "are you the guy to talk to about FTP remission?" He replied "ummm well alot of people have been calling me," and overall just seemed very annoyed that he was getting calls from people. After a couple minutes he looked into my info to double check that i was all squared away(6k dispute on 85k balance) and told me it looked good and i should be paid by June 30th. Fingers crossed

Got an unsolicited call on Friday from Chris at GCG and then an email after he couldn't leave a voicemail. I have a disputed balance >$2000. He confirmed that all disputed claims are now being processed and there are no more of these thresholds.

Although I emailed GCG a couple of months ago to ensure my documents were in order and got a reply back saying that they were (at the same info@fulltiltpokerclaims address that Chris was emailing from), he said he was unable to open any of the attachments I had uploaded with my petition (FTP account audit, 3-4 months of bank statements, or even my explanation of what my dispute was). I was really confused how this would be possible especially since they already confirmed they had all my documents.

However, he had all the correct information from FTP about my balance and 2 attempted Black Friday w/ds. He said that he did not actually need any of my bank statements or FTP account audit, just a copy of the confirmation emails that I received from FTP on 4/15/11 saying the withdrawals were processed.

I sent him this information in an email and he said he has marked my account/dispute "in good standing" and it will be sent to the DOJ for approval. I'm assuming that means for the next wave of payments. I should have asked for more details or a timeline for this but I was rather confused throughout the whole conversation and mostly trying to make sure I sent the info that they needed.

GL all..

I bet this whole "waiting on the DOJ for approval" they keep reiterating is BS.

Remember that this is a company that's financially incentivized to extend the process and they've been called on it before:

Over the next 18 months, Garden City distributed the funds but also racked up a $1 million bill, eating into more than 4 percent of the overall settlement. The firm billed $538,000 in costs and $455,000 in fees, despite agreeing to a cap of $375,000, the judge said.

it's going to be from a 631 area code.

with a balance of 1200 you should have been paid already unless you were labeled affiliate or ftp pro
