Yeah, suing for 2k would be not worthwhile. But class action for all remaining balances makes some more sense.

And a little bit later is going to be over a year, which is 10% of how long I have been playing poker.

You see what they did here right? They set the bar so low, they convinced you that it's actually ok to do this. It's not ok. Name a system in which this would be an acceptable speed of giving you your own money...
I've actually been pretty chill about the whole situation because I don't actually need the money at the moment. Ya I could have it invested and making more money, ah but what the hell. Then I see your post and realize I'm one of the dumb ****s they convinced it was ok to be so damn slow and now I'm getting pissed off. BUT... the serenity prayer says it all.

"God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference."

Now I remember why I wasn't pissed off in the first place.

People are missing the fact that in the eyes of the government it is not our money. That's why it's "OK"

We were defrauded by full tilt. They seized unrelated money from full tilt. I'm relatively sure they're not even legally obligated to pay us but they typically do when money is recovered from scammers.

Hey guys Im really late to the party here. I was trying to keep up with this thread, but its become overwhelming. Can anyone be so kind and help me with a few of my questions?

I was one of the last people to file a claim last year(but before the original November 15 deadline), and I disputed my balance so I understand this puts me at the back of the line in terms of reaching a resolution. I read ITT if I don't win the dispute, I should still get the original amount back. Is this correct? I haven't received any emails from GCG other than the automated email last year confirming my claim was successfully filed. I also haven't been contacted regarding incorrect banking information or anything like that. Should I have heard from GCG by now?

I should have posted this months ago, or called them by now(I sent them an email today though), but Ive been really caught up with family matters and honestly haven't been closely following this situation for the past couple months

edit:
cliffs:

Filed claim on November 14, 2013
Disputed the balance
Non affiliate
No contact regarding incorrect banking information

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to answer my questions

No. You will be contacted when they are ready to pay your disputed claim, deny your dispute amount or request more info regarding your dispute after they have examined it.

If there is a problem with your banking info, you won't get contacted until they are ready to pay your claim and attempt a trial bank transfer. At that time, you will be able to respond with new banking info or wait a couple extra weeks for them to mail you a check.

This is good news, nice to see they're actually moving along.

Perhaps "Q1 of 2015" will be January, instead of March or later that we're all expecting.

Hello? Is anyone out there?

I spoke to Patrick today and he was able to give me a small update. Pretty much we're look at payments by the end for the first quarter 2015 so, end of March looks like.

Unfortunately, today is Patrick's last day at GCG so it looks like their website will be the only source of updates from now on. He called me one last time to let me know what he knows and I think that was really cool of him. He was the one guy at GCG that kept his line open to help while remaining sympathetic. If your reading this, thanks again Patrick.

Less than 4 months to go for the few of us remaining.

Terrible news, and I'll take the over on 4 months, sadly.

Ikr, if they had 10 employees like patrik in the entire company everyone'd have been paid in 2012.

Clearly the direct lines of communication Patrick offered conflicted with GCG's business model.

I'd be shocked and thrilled if money was in hand by March... They haven't contacted me (or anyone I'm assuming) to even mention the dispute progress.

:/

OUCH. I also spoke to Patrick and was very impressed. He had said disputes would be paid in july/august. This was an educated guess and I am guessing that he did not have much control over how brutally slow this process has been.

What odds would someone give me if i wanted to bet that we do NOT get paid by march 2015??

I'm one of the disputeds/alleged affiliate/missing payouts accounts and I'd just be happy to get my money anytime in 2015.
