Don't have any problem with people freaking out - my problem is when people constantly demand that others solve their problems. There's a difference between venting and making increasingly douchey demands (date, time, rakebake, affilliations, pets, etc) for the sole purpose of frantically searching for more answers where there CLEARLY are none yet.

I don't think anything has been going "as expected" for any of us with regard to FTP for almost two and a half years, and it will certainly take more than am email with a few random numbers to make me feel hunky dory about the remissions process, which is still two months before it even had a chance of "being over."

This past week especially (via unrelated NVG threads) had made me bone tired of some in the poker community who seem to be willing to take every step (research, googling, blahblahblah) short of solving their own problems, or having the goddam maturity to take a deep breath and realize when things are out of their hands and that obsessing over them is, at the very least, a giant waste of time, and at the k

Everyone needs to calm down.

We should all be helping to facilitate information as quickly and succinctly as possible.

I think people are just pissed the government stole their money and a few years later they release some unclear instructions on how maybe we might get some of it back.

I have about $10K on there and while I'm fine financially any time you get robbed for that amount you're ****ing pissed. If my neighbor did it I'd probably go over there with a shotgun but since the government did it all I can do is bitch about it on the internet.

All that said you're right - 5 minutes on this thread you will realize that we are in the dark here and asking for help for questions that have already been asked ten times won't accomplish much.

All we can do is wait and hope for the best for now.

Re-Post from the other thread....why are there 2 threads anyway?

Once again, everybody needs to relax if possible. If you did not yet get an email it is still possible one is coming.

"GCG is in the process of attempting to re-send any Notices that "bounced back" because of an invalid email address or for any other reason."

"If you did not receive an email Notice and you believe you are eligible to participate in the remission process, please allow 2-3 additional days, as GCG attempts to resend emails, and then you may file a new Petition for Remission."

Clearly, as you can see just from the small sample size here GCG is being swamped with unnecessary phone calls. People here were calling on the morning of the 16th asking why they did not get an email. Now they are calling wanting to know why the site is not accepting petitions yet. Try to be patient and wait for the information to come to you. There are 2 months to file a petition. It is NOT A SPRINT, it is a marathon. They are not going to pay you faster because you got your petition in first. They are not going to run out of money before paying you if you are the last to file. All of the information everybody here needs will be in place well before the deadline.

For all of the people that keep asking all of the same questions about "affiliates" or "rakeback" or anything else. NOBODY KNOWS YET!!! Please stop. NOBODY knows what an affiliate is in the context of the GCG announcement. NOBODY knows what your "balance as of April 15, 2011" means. We will. We will have all of those answers and soon. Try to chill.

For those expecting an email that did not get one and do not get one after the next 3 days or so you will still be able to file a petition, it just will not be one filled out for you. I think it is likely you will also have access to the data GCG has regarding that account, just like everybody that gets an email. It may take a few days longer to get to it, but you will have plenty of time before the deadline to file.

Take a deep breath people. Relax. Smile. Hey, hey you....drop that phone!

Put a 0 in front guys to make your petition number 8 digits.
This may not be the correct solution, but it did get me to a page that shows my physical address

Fill out your SSN, email.
Hit continue, shows balance as it was on FT.

Click to confirm.
or
Click to dispute balance, and upload docs.

I will save this for when I get home later. Want to check my records. Was logged in after 4/15, not sure if I played or not.

As mentioned add a 0 to the number. Mine is just under $2500 short, as I thought it might be. I had a pending $2500 cash out. Guess ill wait and see the input before deciding how bad I want the 2500

Has anyone clicked dispute yet? What does options does it give you?

Edit: gives you the option to upload 3 documents and suggests you get bank statements.

My balance is exactly equal to my late May Full Tilt balance, in that it includes a $25 promo payment awarded post-4/15 and my final RB payment (RB vendor: TheNuts).

It does not include the value of points/medals/tickets/academy-points.

It also does not reflect a limbo deposit and a limbo withdrawal (of different sizes) that I had made. The deposit had left my bank but never hit FTP, and the withdrawal had left FTP but never hit my bank.
