Sadly, I agree with you Mr. n0nplussed. Though i'd like to believe there is a Lawyer out there who just loves making everyone feel warm & gooey inside - including poker players even though he himself has never played the game and therefore probably views us as degenerates (along with the rest of the non-poker playing world) - its just too far fetched.

Big post count and early join date doesn´t make you look smart. Like I see.

My statement was done because of many posts like that

of course, same set up but properly managed a lot of people would. Regs were regs there for a reason. Too much to lose by not going back if they reopen.
100% true. Even with the same management, i expect tons of regs to go back. If they invested quite heavily into advertising again and mass emails to current fish then regs will be ready to take that action.

The only difference is, regs will keep a limited amount on FTP.
And also the discussion about this virtual money crap. Things like that will never happen, FTP is done!!!

Question: if ftp go bankrupcy will you pay from your own pockets?

Right -- except it's the opposite of far-fetched. It's business. The fact that he's in Full Tilt's employ is entirely incompatible with the notion that he is not acting in the business's best interest. And my god, if there's anything we've learned about Full Tilt in these past few years (and months especially), it's that the players are far, far down on the totem of Full Tilt's primary concerns.

Full Tilt is acting like a business that has found itself, for whatever reason, in financial and legal trouble -- nothing extraordinary or surprising to see here. Just I urge you, please don't let it fool you. There's that whole "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" saying... but I don't think whomever coined it ever conceived that it would need to be expanded to "Fool me 19 times..."

Of course not. Urging somewhat (understandably) desperate, cash-strapped poker players to consider the words of a _lawyer (!!!!!)_ with a grain of salt, at least from my end, says nothing about what will eventually happen.

Now I am not even sure IF FullTilt even has a future. But let's say they reopened for online play, would the rakeback deals from before their licens was taken still count?

And as far as I have heard there they will go to court the 15. sept, is this correct?

Sorry if this post was put in the wrong forum, I was not sure where to post.

If FTP doesn't respond with a substantive response this week do we just ignore them and all associated parties/press completely from then on (until our money is back in our bank accts or they say bye bye its been real)? This seems like their last chance before everyone, even those still giving them some amount of hope in doing the right thing, gives up on their words for good regardless of through whatever conduit it reaches us.

It's their last chance, before their next last chance.

Since BF the situation as a whole with FTP is "bad". This is something I think we can all agree on.

FTP and associates lawyer talks to the community and (as far as we know) has taken questions back to FTP and also commited to a statement from FTP (this week?) with reference to many questions people want answered. The statement may, and probably will, be as empty as most most presume but
no matter what the motive is for a response from FTP, there is no logical conclusion anyone can come to that this is bad.

At this point in time we are broke and freerolling.

So as of right now we have a whole lotta bad, with a little bit of good and a hell of a sweat.
The bad still outweighs the good by a fair way but all the "lawyer bad"...rraaaggghhh...."ftp bad"...dddduuuurrr...."doj bad" errrrrrrrgggg..bitchn is getting old.

This thread is a great example of too little, too late. In the mean time, i'm amazed that people still ask about FTP points / rakeback and other inconsequential nonsense.

There were likely folks standing on the deck of the Titanic wondering if their ties were straight, and wondering if the lifejackets were clashing with their sweaters.

Dear Mr Ifrah

Where is my money that has already been withdrawn from my full tilt account and never reached me?

If you don't find one big investor how about taking thousands of small investors? Lots of players would invest their FTP bankroll for a share of future profit.

FTP is just too good to let it die, and i swear lots of people like me will never trust or play online poker on any site again. so the whole industry will miss out on our rake which should be financialy worse then paying us back.

ask warren buffet to buy it, he complaims to have too much money.

thanks for response

It's normal to vent out on a situation that has ruined many people's lives. Many of us trusted poker like a bank account. If a bank froze millions of customers deposits, and you waited over 100 days for a decent update that never comes. Your telling me it's better to stay silent and trust that your eventually going to get paid? If they don't feel the pressure, they will keep holding off info like they have been for months. If players funds where number 1 priority, we would've been paid, and sold. They remind me of greedy free agents that hold out for a bigger contract, and claim say team is the number one priority.

It's a bit too early for this, though. Not to crap on anyone's whine-parade, but if it "has ruined your life" etc. you did it wrong. Therefore, if you get satisfaction out of blaming yourself in public, go right ahead.

P.S. Obviously, I would like nothing more than for everyone to get paid back and all, but we do have to get things in the right perspective, you know?

I think JI is here as a foreplay to a very bad sex experience you all soon gonna have, if you get my drift.

I have no money locked up at FTP but I feel so sorry for each and one of you that have. It's a shame really.

Of course he is acting in what he believes is Fulltilt's best interest.I don't think anyone here ever doubted that. However, so far it seems he may be the first one to recognize that keeping the players informed is in Fulltilt's best interest.

Posts asking for money or offering to buy/sell FTP accounts is prohibited in this forum/thread.

I've reinstated the original post and deleted all references to your requests for money, but that is why the post was deleted.
