Well maybe you are right, and maybe there are other players, he just can't tell us for legal reasons. I can't calm down much more or I will fall asleep. The guys with big BRs are the ones upset (understandable) not and former FTP rec/donater/fish like me.

Yep.

how many people like the idea of potential casino at ftp?
08-28-2011 , 10:55 PM
So, when is this statement coming out? is it this week or next week? and is there going to be any new news on this statement?
08-28-2011 , 11:03 PM
I imagine the first statement will be telling us about future statements.

Aren't we due for a sept 1st statement announcing a sept 15th hearing date?

Agree. Management/owners have yet to acknowledge or apologize for the lies customers were told right after bf. Hopefully we can expect this to change once these statements are released.

Also, why do these statements have to be released separately? Ftp has done this once already regarding concerns about points, medals, etc. All i would like is some honesty about progress being made. No need to "trick" us by staggering your press releases/updates over a dragged out period of time.

Do you really ftp will say anything this time??

Hopefully. We have been given the run around long enough that we deserve some truth.

Who was the legal advisor who supervised that statement?
oh they are safe and secure, just in someone elses pockets.

The debate over the legitimacy or motives of Mr. Ifrah are over. He's already explained why he's doing this and has been verified as the real person by several people who have spoken to him personally. If you don't believe he's legitimate, or think he's trying to snow or cheat everyone, you'd better have some actual facts to back it up rather than just posting random crap about how FTP has screwed everyone ergo anyone who has ever worked for them is trying to screw everyone.

So post questions and RESPECTFULLY post your opinions about the answers that have been given or questions you'd like to see answered in the future (by either Mr. Ifrah or from FTP). But all this trolling crap stops now.
a bit too late it seems. :/

I am so SICK of how ******ed nvg be. It blows my mind. We have a lawyer from FTP answering questions but instead nvg gives him the 5th degree on all his motives and his super double secret motives for posting here. It just goes to show what a bunch of myopic, self defeating, pessimistic, infantile, wretched group of people nvg is. The dumbest and lowliest of all prole mouth breathers. I don't know why I even come into this sub-forum anymore.

Hello Jeff, do You think ftp employees are getting paid directly from players balance? I hope not
08-29-2011 , 12:29 AM
Hi Jeff,

Thank you for taking the time to talk to us FTP customers. I'm sure you're a busy man and are in no way obligated to do this, and yet here you are. Awesome.

I'm not sending this message to ask you a question. Rather, I would like to make a suggestion that, if you could pass along to FTP management, I would appreciate it.

I have $4,000 trapped on FT at the moment, and have friends that have much more. Through my conversations with fellow players over the last couple of months, one thing became clear: we all understand the severity of the situation and would be happy to go along with any plan that would lead us to getting paid.

Any plan.

And here's the idea: if Full Tilt were to ink a deal with an investor and become fully operational again, we players would gladly accept if they would pay only 20 or 25% of each player's account balance, and have the remaining 75-80% be credited in "pending bonus" form, to be released in small installments over a period of time.

Full Tilt should consider this. We players would accept it. Gladly. Because the bottom line is, most of us don't think we'll ever see our money back anymore. In this scenario, "pending bonus" sounds excellent.

Thank you for your time,
Luis

I think the problem with partial payment is.... who is paying it?
If the current owners are going to sell the company or go Bk why would the current owners invest more money into something with no return.
08-29-2011 , 12:39 AM
That plan isn't workable as US players can't play on FTP due to DOJ.

Non US players shouldn't have to play thru if US do not especially when they are the future income of FTP.

Agree, but for a different reason. A company that doesn't have enough liquidity can't stay open. So, either everyone gets paid or nobody does. What recreational player in their right mind would deposit money on a company that can't pay its liabilities when they can easily play on stars or other rooms.

Plenty of people here probably lost 10k+ and have been completely shut out by Full Tilt until the last few days. How do you expect people to react? The fact that Jeff dodges the most important questions about our money certainly doesn't help either.

I have ~20k on ftp. You know what I want? I want to not chase people away that are trying to give us some type of communication line. I don't want to shoot the messenger. It's completely self defeating and pointless.
08-29-2011 , 02:39 AM
I can't get my head around why Mr. Ifrah is doing what he's doing. I'd think that as a FTP attorney hired to handle one part of their many legal issues it would be prudent of him to simply do his job for his clients. Why he's fielding questions that have almost nothing to do with the specific issues he's responsible for is beyond me unless he volunteered to be the intermediary between FTP principals and people like us.

Mr Ifrah: I don't understand how your willingness to take and attempt to answer these questions advances your client's interests regarding the matters for which you've been retained. If you care to explain why you are attempting to answer questions beyond the scope of the matters for which you've been retained I'd appreciate it.
08-29-2011 , 02:52 AM
id rather him answer questions now and worry about why later.

these are my feelings exactly even the amount i got stuck

I assume it is in the best interests of his clients for FTP to get back up and running, in which case money is repaid and the cases are dropped because payment has been made.

I think there is probably a heap of legal trouble if FTP goes down. He is attempting to facilitate a dialog to show to investors there is still an interest in FTP. Obviously the brand is worthless without the players. So I look at reaching out to the players as an attempt to right ship in the hope when they are back they will still get players.

The legal worries in the rest of the world just relate to the money. If the money comes those ones will go away leaving the DOJ.
