Why?

A check is a check no?
07-31-2012 , 11:54 AM
I'm confused. Does this also mean poker stars and FTP are coming back to the US now?

My suggestion is that all you guys who spent days arguing the value of "a few" and were ready to string up Diamond Flush take 30 seconds to write a PM to Diamond Flush thanking her for her hard work and apologizing for your childish behavior.

Does this mean US players are paid back in full? Or partial? Fate of US players' FTP points/ bonuses/ medals?
07-31-2012 , 11:54 AM
That was one long three-way. Happy ending confirmed.

I hate to be negative Nancy here, but why do I still feel uneasy?

result in all of FTP’s US players having the opportunity to be paid.
07-31-2012 , 11:55 AM
BOOM
07-31-2012 , 11:55 AM
so, US players are not getting paid for sure is how I read it...

Unfortunately, yes. I don't want to put an unwarranted scare into anybody, but remission is discretionary. The government can choose to refund you any or all or none of your money more or less on a whim.

The DOJ needs a legal way to compensate us. Know of any alternatives?
07-31-2012 , 11:56 AM
In before several thousand tax-evading 2+2ers freak out about remission through the government.

Yeah... It was the first sentence of the announcement wasn't it? And the DOJ is offering a US signing bonus and rakeback too?

Seriously, WTF makes you think they are coming back? DID the DOJ sign a poker bill also?
