Total speculation to follow:

I wouldn't be shocked if the burtnick and settlement announcement were done together. Poker media seems to be on alert for something, could just be what we all are on alert for, but feels like something more. (see Feldman and Bradley tweets)

Maybe they, and other media, were tipped off on a press conference this afternoon on the condition that they don't leak it, off the record if you will...

Gonna be so disgusting to listen to the DOJ blow their own whistle about how they worked so hard to protect us citizens and bring these criminals to justice, when all they really did was seize an opportunity to collect a 350m payday with our money and force us to wait months upon months to get it back.

The best play would be to buy a B2 bomber for $750M, fly it to NY and then re-sell it... much more elegant than duffel bags imo.
