honestly, ta miller, blizzle, dtm, etc should all be modded to get rid of this garbage in this thread right now

it's downright embarrassing that you all think it's ok to start bashing eolis, wendeen and newell.

It's not irrational for people to be angry at reporters who promise good news in x amount of time concerning very large bankrolls in limbo for over 14 months, only for that news not to materialize.

At the moment only the "book it" reporter who said to expect news on monday deserves the hate, but DF ("in a few days") and Wendeen stuck their neck out too, and might get bashed if nothing materializes by week's end.

Personally, I do like some of these journalists to be on their toes a little more and to not toy with our emotions just so they can say "first!"

As i understand from this, your basis for it being ok to bash someone for getting a story wrong involves them being a journalist?

She didn't even file a story.

She tweeted 1 sentence.

I am not the only one looking for some answers here.

I'm not sure that you can call anyone out for saying things that turn out to be false when you say things that are false at the time you say them.

1) When did Wendeen say a couple of days? She said "At this point I am ready to go out on a limb; FTP customers will see their monies well in time for Christmas shopping." and "it is now safe to say announcements for public dissemination are in the works." Nowhere in there does she say a couple of days or even pretend to know how long it will take for the announcements to be ready for public dissemination.

2) DF did not say the first day of the week, she said a few days. Obviously, she will tell everything she can as soon as she can. If you are ask her to do otherwise, you're asking her to pull a "@writerjen", the exact thing you were flaming against. (Please do not respond with your meaning of "few")

If you are going to call out others for getting their facts mixed up, you should get yours straight first.

We all want answers, but don't pretend anybody but @writerjen said we would get them today and don't ignore that others (pokerfuse) said that certain people were jumping the gun.
