FTP says they've agreed to start issuing statements about their situation.
They say they'll first release a statement early next week (the week that starts August 29) on what the company is doing right now. Next, they'll release a statement on the deposit shortfall. After that, they'll release a statement on the seizures.
They plan to continue releasing statements after that, though they haven't chosen topics for those yet.

So it was an announcement of announcement after all
I don't really like announcing that they're going to make statements either, but the nice thing about this is that they've at least committed to saying something.
I'm thoroughly displeased with the way this has gone, but keep in mind that some information released to the public is better than no information. If they want to release it slowly (and probably screw up some more stuff along the way), it's important that we not be so critical of their flawed methodology that they decide simply to stop releasing anything.

interesting. guess that means they dont think a deal will be in place for the next 3 weeks. some standard stalling tactics. hopefully there end game is stronger then this.
I bet these guys never even ran a lemonade stand when they were kids.
I bet they did, but drank all of their own lemonade and spent all the cash meant for change. Then told their parents they were robbed by bullies when finally confronted about it.
