Test was a success, over hundreds of players join the beta testing. Lots of cool features. There were some few bugs and issues as well but overall loved the software.

Did you know what alias you are showing at the table? To prevent the collusion one person was wery worried about in the other thread.

Its randomized for each player. Player A may see me as Mark Nicholas, Player B may see me as Michael Jordan.

So I wouldn't know what my alias is being shown to each other player but I would see my own username.

This is true for avatars/characters as well.

It's kind of funny when you snap-called villain's bluff on KQxxx, and his avatar changed to "enraged", but I expect the novelty would wear off pretty quickly, for regs at least. Casual recreationals would like all the silly stuff though, I think.

I think player's expression change not because they won or lost the last hand, but think its based on players preflop playing style. From what I saw, you need to play at least 10 hands before your expression starts to change.

So if you have been playing very loose during your 10 hands sample size, 11th hand onwards your expression would change to 'enraged' even if you double up on your 10th hand.

So it more like a simplified HUD.

Yep, only for the selected people. I actually signed up from 3-4 email ids, and I got the invitation on the id which I used for sign up back in May or June.

They plan to have more beta testing in the coming weeks. So you might get an invitation next time.

Lets hope all the fishies are excited also because if only twoplustwo nits know about it will be a waste of time. The big sites spend millions on marketing gonna be tough.

Also the interface doesn't feel snappy to me, but that's probably because of your end/recording software?

Also I can't believe new sites aren't copying the Chinese app thing where you can send animation to your opponents like shoot a machine gun at them etc. That feels like a no-brainer to me

Also I don't understand - how would a screen grabbing HUD not work for the single session you're in? I know it's not that useful but still


EDIT: those are points to improve not vital or anything.
Most important thing for me is RAKE and how much will that be, since most people coming in at first will be people familiar with training sites solvers etc.
Give me low rake environment where I can practice my A game vs good players and you're guaranteed some of my volume. Keep it too high without massive marketing expenditure on getting non-regs and I won't see much of a point

i think its awesome that they are really making a site but i always wonder why site makers look past old fulltilts skin and avatars. full tilt had the best of the best for fish and just entertaining to look at . using dark dull earthy colors makes it look like ACR .

also i really dont like the avatars being regular people i think they are missing an opportunity to have some cool characters there . Hell , pull ideas from here im sure people could come up with some creative ****. but other than that i think its sick.

I noticed all players at all times have 100bb+ in all gameplay videos
Is auto rebuy to 100bb forced or you can turn it off?

100bb is minimum buyin but auto-topup can be turned off.

This still leaves collusion possible, as the name doesn't matter, just the position at the table, so the players will know from the cards they show each other they have been dealt, if they are at the same table.

Ya collusion and bots are gonna love this setup.

Other operators have similar setup, right? Bodog, Unibet. Do they suffer from increased collusion?

Ultimately auto-seat/blind lobby has to reduce the attractiveness of collusion quite a bit: If the system has lots of lockout rules (to prevent someone hopping between all the randomly) and there are enough tables running at each stake, it makes it hard to join a table with your associate.

I hated the angle of the cards for approximately 10 minutes and then it felt quite natural... I do think it's a slightly odd choice but it makes sense trying to keep some semblance of perspective. I think most people will get used to it really fast.

With that said, there's some indication either this will be a customizeable setting or they are considering changing it to top-down.

Agree with all of this. Maybe there are people like me, that play full time, but don't pay nearly enough attention to rake, and place too much emphasis on fun gameplay features. I had all my FT characters modded, and I loved that ****.

All in all I appreciate the thought processes that have gone into the decision making, and the HUD concept is fun and clever. Really grateful and excited to see this coming to fruition.
