It's easy to beast cash games when it's not your money or online when the software "supports" (*cough*) sponsored players. We're off Ivey bruh, you're six years late.

Fedor about Ivey:

"No, you're not on my level, get your brakes tweaked
I won what you made in your career in my first week
You guys don't want it with Holz
Ask Dan Smith, he don't want it with Holz, nooo!"

Lol so you are saying ivey isnt a good cash player? He is up lifetime on live televised cash games but you are too biased to appreciate it. Lol @ "its easy to beast cash games when its not your money"

so if i want to beat high stakes all i need to do is rob a bank? It wont be my money so the games will be easy right? Lmao. You are delusional.

Ivey has bracelets across many formats. Your golden boy fedor isnt a multi format specialist. Ivey has won high rollers aswell. Everything fedor has done ivey has done first and for a longer time. Find a new guy to hate on.

Would just be oh so enlightening to see the top 25's NET profit as well as the top 25 net profit overall

Ding, we have a winner. Nothing screams "proven winner" like a couple hundred hands of televised play.

And people say meassuring success based on hendon mob results is ridiculous..

So convenient to cherry pick something i said to respond to. My point wasnt to say he won during live cash so its a fact he is a winner. That was just a small piece of my entire argument. Ivey has been a documented winner for 10+ years across many formats so the recent hate is laughable. This is the same guy who bailed out tons of players when he beat andy beal (a mathmatician) heads up. But according to alot of 2+2er's fedor holz is better than ivey because he won a nice chunk of change (still less than ivey lol)

Nobody doubts he was a big winner for a long time and at least I would never hate on him.

But unless you secretly track Bobby's room and Macau cashgames, I am pretty sure you have no clue if he has been a winner over the last couple of years. At least his online and live tournament results don't prove that he has been a winner recently and most other information is just hearsay.

Besides that, I am pretty sure OP created this thread because 1) Ivey doesn't play many tournaments anymore and 2) Fedor keeps winning super high rollers left and right, even though he's "retired". I doubt it was OPs intention to compare their respective skills.

I see your point but unless we see ivey "grinding" again i think its safe to say he's still doing well in the high stakes cash games. I mean the wsop has the softest mtts in the world so if he was truely hurting for cash i think he'd be playing atleast a few events. But you are right, nobkdy really knows how he is doing these days. I just dont think he's fallen too far behind the slill curve simply because he has crushed so long. A weaker ivey is still +ev in atleast 75% of any game running at anytime imho.

Rumor going around the high limits is that Fedor is edge sorting.
