You guys wanna fill me in on a single midstakes+ winner who makes and edits youtube videos about poker (not relating to a training product they are pitching) while actively playing too? No? One? Anyone? A single one?

i mean i don't follow this scene so i can't name a lot off the top of my head but there are certainly some, sinkarma jarretman or some twitch streamers etc - but who cares?
the guy (evidently by some screenshots in the thread) is completely honest and doesn't claim to be a high stakes crusher

prob understands the game better than plenty of the haters tho

and yea +1 sometimes recs/poker enthusiasts can still understand/explain theory to a decent degree, understanding and execution not always the same thing. similarly sometimes some good players (results) aren't the best at explaining/coaching, even the opposite sometimes

It's Youtube teacher 101 to occasionally say "of course I'm not actually amazing at this" while the rest of the time trying to portray yourself as an expert. Normally it tilts me (e.g. Oliver Thorn/Philosophy Tube) but in poker it's hard to get too annoyed, for obvious reasons.

I know a lot of really good poker players who aren't theoretically wizards and don't have infinite solves memorized and I know some players who have tonnes of solves memorized but aren't necessarily high stakes crushers or even winning poker players.

Different people enjoy different things; maybe FE enjoys making poker theory videos more than he enjoys playing poker? It doesn't matter if he's a HS reg or not, his videos are some of the best free poker content available.

Some good funny staff on YouTube can be good for poker, any like dotaWTF with hs plays, online cg, mtt, and live poker, If It is good It Will have a lot of viewers.
But It needs a better name than finding equilibrium, any Who catch non poker players too.
I mean dotaWTF have 1 video/week with 1.5M+ viewers, people playing dota are not even 500k in comments box half of them are "i don't play dota anymore, still seing dotaWTF"

Love the type of humour this guy usually brings (though this one went to the next level by miles), and coupled with the content per se, this channel makes my top 3 list of best poker channels for sure.
