Still I don know if there's any mtt reg who can be consistent winners at 5/10 10/20 on stars, and perhaps beating softer 25/50 50/100 games (again possible he just runs above EV in those games n perhaps -EV in those games hard to know). But cmon even elite mtt regs like timex can't beat nl500. He's just def top 3 or thebest mtt reg. He's just not as good as some of the online CG endbosses like otb n wcg.

Fedor has been crushing not only live SHRs but beating online mtts with monstrous fields for a few years. Consequently, it's unfair and inaccurate to chalk up his extraordinary live record to small playing fields.

As for variance, his mtt record is at the extreme far right edge of the poisson distribution, making it enormously unlikely from a statistical perspective that variance alone accounts for his fantastic record. The dude may be benefitting from running above EV (not that anyone in the thread has actually posted statistically valid evidence to support this), but he's also a really, really good mtt player who crushes fields of all sizes.
