You don't think FTP has approached him? He wants it this way apparently, not worth it to him to be sponsored atm.

What tables? You can buy your own tables named after you with ironman medals, so durrrr obv bought his 500/1k tables (see chat where he tells ziig to get his own tables).
FTP made the durrrr challenge tables because it's durrrr who challenged the world, and it's team FTP pros who accepted, which makes things a lot easier if you think having private tables to play on is better.
Sponsored cash games are aired on TV right? Durrrr's not boring to watch, he is good for TV.

He's been offered deals but hasn't found one he likes enough to go with. FTP know he's always going to play there anyway because that's where the biggest action is, so they don't have much incentive to offer him a really good deal. As for his side of it, he's getting promoted too. He's a lot better known among casual players already because of this challenge. Whatever the results (unless he gets utterly crushed (and actually even then...)), he'll probably be a lock for all the big TV cash games/invitationals for the next couple of years.
