Thuritz resides in Vienna, Austria nowadays and go around to Vegas and Macao a bit because online poker has dried out for him because he doesn't have the energy to put in the work with solvers. Also don't want to compete against real time solvers etc.

Lately been playing 8-game online against guys like Trueteller, Sauce and Joiso. He also plays 5 card O8.

Thuritz says he's trying to avoid the best NLH and PLO opponents but sometimes playing them anyway if he think it's fun. But most of the time he tries to stay away from games if he can't have an edge.

In 8-game he pretty much consider himself to be the best in the pool. Especially when NLH/PLO were played deeper. Mentions joiso is super good in the limit games, and very tricky to play with, but Thuritz consider himself having an edge in the big bet games deep. At the same time he mentions that there are good deep players like Sauce that are now good in limit games as well so it's getting tougher and tougher.

Thuritz says he and Trueteller sent a letter to Pokerstars asking why they changed the 8-game to 40bb cap. Stars responded that they had received a bunch of e-mails from players to change it to cap. In Thuritz opinion Stars are just doing a bunch of **** at the moment, and think they did it to rake more somehow. No longer a site for the players, new owners obviously just want to make as much money as possible etc.
