It’s not a bluff. It’s simply to prevent Otb from seeing the river with all his draws that 3b because they are too weak to flat the raise OOP with. Otb should also (occassionally) have some air that has some equity vs 96. After the 3b there is enough money in the pot to take it down with a jam with a hand that is quite vulnerable on rivers.

Well one of them ducked up there. In Holdem there aren’t enough hands to have this raising war especially with lots of draws possible. So no 5b ranges on the flop in gto.

I think ante messes some people's calculations up for sure. I recall seeing a nosebleeds HUPLO table where one player was like "I'll play you, but at the ante tabels" and the other guy who sat him refused lol
