They don't make up any of the player pool on Global, WSOP or some of the other sites that ban certain countries. It's tough to take any money from a Reg. I play Russians/Belarussian/Ukrainians/Romanians/Slovaks/All the Eastern Nations and their style is nitty in micros. They grind out bonuses and they don't tend to punt. Brazil and a few other countries might be included. They seem to study more and they obviously see how I adjust to them by lowering my VPIP/Aggression in their field. It's just a very nitty field of people who probably play AK or better! With bonuses and against Americans this is profitable.
Americans I play gamble with me like mad. I don't know how many times I've flipped over a pair of Aces to see a USA player chasing 2 pair on me or a flush draw. It's so much more swingie. You got to be BankRolled vs Americans or you will get had if variance hits you. I am up 10-11 BIs on Global in a Day. But if I gamble with em that can swing in the reverse -10 -11 BIs and tilt you quick. American swill call any 2 cards sometimes.
The Bot-like feeling I think comes from the nitty and very non-punty style. I think they're better than we are. I think they study harder and want the money more. I think their culture is more aimed toward Poker too when America sort of went in the crapper since 2011. Sad I miss the good old days.
Now if we're talking high stakes I am not sure that Eastern Europe has anything on the West... I haven't seen that as much, they have crushers I am sure but we have some exceptional minds in the West. And they make a ton of money.
Bots are still dumb enough to be beaten, but not HUs
P.S. Mind you all this 411 is from a big Fish so take what I saw with a grain of salt, just observations!
