Dude this story is nuts. Can't believe I read the whole thing.

Would've been a much better story if you took a shower and ended up losing your foot or something. I'm not saying I wish that happened. Just saying it was an interesting story that was one medical tragedy away from being a GREAT story.

There is an interesting TV show here in Canada called "Border Security" It's a reality show that follows various customs agents around. There are also US, Australian and New Zealand versions of the show.

In on episode I saw there was an American TV/movie producer coming to Vancouver. He brought 250k cash in his carryon to pay his crew! He declared it on his form and they pulled him into the back. They counted it all out, verified the amount, then sent him on his way. Same episode someone else had just over 10k, didn't declare it, got caught, had the money siezed and had to pay a fine to get it back.

Just declare it!

Notice how little old New Zealand is there too. Kiwis sure punch above their weight in soo many things,especially sport and things physical.Not bad for a population of under 5 million.

Lovely place to visit, but an even better place to live!

Damn what a read tho. Glad it worked out in the finish, crazy to think they will do this **** like this to tourists. I’m sure a story like this would put off quite a lot of people off going to the Bahamas.

one, this kind of thing will toughen you up. No doubt.

But secondly, your story made me feel sorry for people in third world countries,
alot more than you. This was 5 days of hell for you. But how many people
were in the prison's with you, and for how long

We should all probably carry gratitude with us to be born in first world countries.

Before this their biggest worry was if the five bet with A5s got through. And then they got showed the world.
