On the WSOP broadcast last night, the subject of this bet was raised, and Antonio confirmed that the story was true, and that he bought out. No actual numbers were mentioned.

(Sorry I don't have a time in the broadcast, but I think it was while they were 6 or 7 handed)

When he buys out after 5 mins I would guess he's setting Perkins up for a massive prop bet which he knows he will win. Perkins getting beaten in every bet he makes won't keep the action going for too long.

Antonio claimed in last month's Bluff magazine that he thought it would be good for him mentally to attempt this type of challenge. he wont disclose the amount of the bet, but Perkins is a billionaire and Antonio is fairly well off himself so it must be a fairly large amount. According to Antonio, Perkins offered the bet and gave him only a minute to accept it.
wet dreams or anything involuntary does not count as a loss but anything intentional does.
and obviously, Perkins knows that Antonio is a man of honor and therefore would be honest if he lost. (similar to Ivey's vegetarian bet with Dwan)

I was having an argument last night with a guy at DTD, did Esfandiari ever explain the 'no release' side of things? The man I was discussing it with said he read that nocturnal emissions don't count (ie. wet dreams) but I am sure they counted against him in this bet. Has anyone seen Antonio actually talk about what counted, because the only thing I've seen was the tweets ITT.

btw impossible with or without nocturnal emissions when you live the lifestyle Esfandiari does, no wonder he bought out.
