Why would getting a ban from 1 casino be that big of a deal? (or even 1 set of properties for that matter) Especially for someone that went busto and quick poker to pursue a more traditional job.

Harrahs should not allow any FTP pro who owes money to the site to play at WSOP. Nor any other tournament or cardroom in the world. They are playing with stolen money.

This is no different than a pawn shop buying goods that they know are stolen. It is illegal. Why should poker be any different?

Because poker's traditionally been shady and a game played by criminals/outlaws, not socially awkward pasty kids sitting in front of computer screens. The general rule's always been to not ask questions where the money came from.

Doyle Brunson claims in his latest blog that he doesn't have much dough. "I'm in the same boat as most FT customers. I had 28k on FT, my son Todd had 30k and my daughter Pam had 5k. So that is 63k of Brunson money that is in dire jeopardy. Didnt he lifeguard and prop in his early 20s....those arent exactly trust fund gigs.

I did hear and probably repeat he was super robusto a few yrs ago. Rumor had it he was one of the biggest 2-5 winners in early LHE games, and he was staking a bunch of guys so he had a tonne of cash at one point.

Is Gavin still hooked up with him?

Yikes....tournament poker is such a unsustainable thing as presently structured.
