This is not the first time that an FTP pro put out an insensitive tweet about the crisis. Just the ones that I can remember:
APRIL 18 2011, @Erik_Seidel: "Just got back from a camping trip..so peaceful. Anyone else having trouble logging in?" (He has since deleted this tweet, not sure where. Can still be viewed
here.)
OCTOBER 25 2011, @AllenCunningham: "Halloween is coming up. Anyone looking for a scary costume can borrow my old team FTP jersey." At least, he hasn't deleted this.
View here.
MARCH 13 2012, @thehitwoman: "Just saw a thread on 2+2 about my man's gambling debts. Don't worry everyone - I just sent him to pick up $20 worth of lotto tix. #chillout" (She has also deleted this tweet.

HONORABLE MENTION
(merely because there's no record left of this that I could find, so I have to go on memory)
A few months ago, Phil Gordon (@philnolimits) tweeted something to the effect of "Nothing worse than having to sit at the airport bar and hearing the bartender tell the same joke 20 times." I guess a number of people tweeted to him that there were plenty of things worse than that (hint hint), and he insta puts out another tweet acknowledging the terrible situation with FTP. He quickly deleted both tweets.
Not sure what some of these individuals are thinking when they try to make light of what is actually a dreadfully unfunny situation. If it's going to come down to staying quiet versus trying to be funny about defrauding poker players worldwide, I would have to recommend staying quiet.
EDIT: I recognize that her tweets did not have to do explicitly with FTP, but I think the spirit of impropriety is similar.
