So this is the type of play that e-scum thinks works, maybe bc he feels he is a feared player, lol. Such a horrible play, especially with just under 30 bb's in the main event:

The player on the button raised to 1800 (gonna assume this is a typo by pokernews, as this was the 150/300 level) and was called by e-scum in the small blind. Flop was Ad-As-3c, with e-scum c/r his opponent's bet of 800 to 1600. His opponent called. Turn was Kd. E-scum c/c bet of 1500 on turn. River of Qd checks through. E-scum showed 5-5 which lost to his opponent's Ac-8c.

It probably isn't a typo, and e-dog put him on 88-JJ when he opened for 6x, and then tried to get him off the hand and it didn't work. You can put it back in your pants now.

Yeah, I know. I was defending his play. I think his line is reasonable and has some logic behind it if the preflop raise size isn't actually a typo.

Some parts of the article I thought were OK, but as mentioned, this line was pretty ridiculous:

People love lumping large groups together, and using this to claim hypocrisy that doesn't exist. Yes, lots of people in poker owe money to others, like in any walk of life (admittedly the % is probably larger in poker). Yes, lots of people in poker are critical of Lindgren. But neither of those groups of people = the poker community as a whole. Not even close.
