Prop bets are ev neutral, eric couldve easily lost , op cant really use prop bets to his advantage because it fits his narrative.

they shouldnt have counted if he lost either, if op tried to use that as a reasoning for winning the bet i'd be against him

nobody is addressing the fact that eric can just print the ev of the sidebet for FREE if they count, he's just freerolling op

Prob bets clearly should not count. As has been pointed out prop bets are a freeroll for Eric as he could easily say they don’t count against his total if he lost them.

yeah i dunno about the chip counting thing ill just assume you guys are right on that bc i aint gonna count the dudes chipstack, but in my eyes that's completely irrelevant if the prop bet winnings are what even put in contention the discrepancy to be relevant.

It's not even that he could just potentially angle (not saying he is the kind of guy that would do this) and pick or choose whether to count it when it suits him, it's that they clearly do not count or the bet doesnt even make any sense bc ERIC CANNOT LOSE THE 10K

I agree prop bets shouldnt count but that should’ve been discussed before.

I dont see how eric couldve freerolled op with the props, if he is down for example 10k from the props, he wouldve paid it from his stack and that would’ve been a negative for him in the cumulative winnings/losings

Overall props are meant to be ev neutral, you cant just say after the fact ah you won in props so you owe me. What if he lost in props, op wouldnt be saying **** about them.

He can never lose the 10k which is supposedly the gamble, it's clearly against the spirit of a fair bet to enter one where you risk nothing yourself while under the pretense one of you will lose 10k and the other will win 10k.

You only flip if you're gonna lose the prop

If he is down 100k, he flips for 21k.

Lose flip = 0ev bc you already lost the prop and like you said the flip is neutral
Win flip = +10k from prop

It doesnt matter what eric says, it doesnt matter what op says. This isnt a discussion about how they perceived the propbets in relation to their own interests, it's that eric is literally free rolling OP.

I might be missing something as I don't watch these streams but couldn't you just count hand by hand how much he actually lost and forget the HCL's figures? That way it wouldn't matter how much he bought in or cashed out.

Yeah it's a lot of work but it would put end to this, no? Or are they missing some hands on the stream?

i dunno about the 500 usd sidebet, maybe op owes that i dont care enough to check. But i dont think he owes the 10k

i'd be willing to give eric the benefit of the doubt and assume he just didnt think about it bc v rich and prob doesnt give these things much thought so i think a new, properly laid bet should be the play moving forward.

Preferably a double or nothing if op can afford it since they are both kinda at fault here + we dont know how eric would have responded if the prop bets put him on the wrong side.
