Watched him a bit, I hope he doesn't get popular because the exploititive way he plays is exactly the correct style to crush micros. I get a good lul from the lab users who after months of hard study still can't beat 5nl and they have no idea why. GTO isn't worth looking into until you're playing 100nl or higher and even then I'd wager exploit play would still be very profitable.

Nah, the challenge isn't to see if he can do it, the challenge is to see if he can do it better and faster than Doug did it.

He has a real dislike for what he considers unnecessary GTO play. And for some reason he thinks that Doug is the poster child for this unnecessary GTO play. I really don't understand this, Charlie seems like an excellent player and a smart guy, but the reality is that Doug is quite likely the absolute best exploitative poker player who ever lived. Doug played exploitatively so well, that everyone else had to learn GTO to remain competitive.

I don't intend to sound like a Doug fanboy, but this just seems so obvious to me. I can't fathom a world in which Charlie could be a better exploitative cash game player than Doug. It just doesn't compute in my head.

regs at microstakes are super exploitable so I wonder who is actually debating gto/exploitative here, exploitative will always be the highest ev strategy.

also agree with low buy in bankroll management strategy as the way to go. Actually using 10-20BI is fine, you can just drop down in stakes whenever you lose 2 buy ins, and you'd never go busto using this strategy. (pretty much employing zeno's paradox as your brm strategy). This is mathematically approved and risk free
