the time it must take to become a winning player in dfs must be tremendous especially if your a sports novice like myself. i truly dont even know where the edge is in the game. i assume its that most sports fans are betting "their team" and you guys come in with a very modest edge and an amount of entries that would make dnegs blush. would you guys even be winning with say 10 entries? or do you need 150 to an amateurs 1 to show a profit?

also if its more skill than attrition why not just parlay the line up on a sports book.

The rake is ridic high which is the biggest problem in DFS.
My wife used to like to play $1, $2 games 50/50s. One day I was looking at her games and 4-5 of the 11 were big time top guys. They were entering tiny games for the tiny amount of EV. There was no limit on the amount of games they could play so they entered that ****.

The greed of the DFS dudes is/was insane. Not sure if they still do this as it was 2-3 years ago.

Yep. It ain’t easy. I think there are some limitations these days for low entry gpps, but they will def scoop up $10 3-man and whatever.

I treat it as a hobby which I enjoy a lot more than Poker.

There is nothing soft for a rec when they have to beat optimized line ups that are entered in mass. That plus the ridiculous rake and it’s about impossible to win long term unless you’re doing it the way you’re doing it. I live in America, I don’t have to worry about sharps from all around the world unless it’s Sunday and in the future will never have to worry about it because we’ll be isolated when regulated. Idc what people gamble on, I play from time to time (used to grind HU the first few years pretty hard), but there is way more issues and variance to overcome than poker and it’s embarrassing our government allows it but not regulated poker.

I think there's a chance he's -EV in GPPs these days. he plays very very chalky. that's basically what awesemo was calling him out on, and what started this entire thing

Shout out to Petty "DFS Millionaire Theft89

Dunno what aejones cash lineup was, but it would be pretty hard to beat EM2's one. He going to win pretty much everything today.

Actually he was drawing live with Kelce and Kylar (I assume), but Kelce flopped hard. He needs 32 DK points from Murray to win.

17.5 at the half and the cards down 10 pts, so gonna be a lot of throwing

pretty big anti-sweat for EM2 (at least from this peasant's eyes) since he drops out of a small thunderdome cash vs awesemo if Murray gets 15
10-25-2020 , 10:22 PM
AEJones also has Kyler vs him down 13 (now). So likely a 6 fig sweat on Kyler. He's gotta be a dog given the game script.

lol that penalty on the FG cost EM2 a milly

I love the EM2 twitter feed but man the guy could use a good humbling..

He also had u50,000 covid deaths by 12/31 so pretty shocking he's taking the worst of it for the max.

Yeah, at the point in time he made that bet it was probably one of the dumbest bets of 2020.

10 "Thunderdome" tournaments vs AwesomeO.

50k at evens vs AwesomeO
650k vs 500k of moklovin
65k vs 50k of Dan Smith
65k vs 50k of Fedor Holz

Last 11 weeks of NFL HU vs AEJones
110k vs AEJones 100k weekly
55k vs Dan Smith 50k weekly

The AwesomeO match is all square with neither cashing yet 3/10 contests down?

AEJones and Dan via AE Jones up 165k after winning week 1?
