Op can beat 4nl? Well that means he's better at poker than most of the pros so he gets my vote.

Would you be willing to wear a lock patch, cap and hoodie . If so do you know karate or any type of mixed martial arts in case you are trapped in ally by pack of players who have not been paid. One last question would you be able to lie to new sign ups telling them to play there and that there money is safe. fwiw there are new openings almost daily for new lock pros I think you got a great shot

How exactly does one get a job on this EAD team. I assume the interview process is rather ... vigorous. Believe I may have seen my videos of these casting tryouts on the interwebs before.

Fair warning to the OP. The 1000-5000/day thing isn't typical. To get that rate, you have to get signed not just as a regular pro but as a team pro, and that involves a more in-depth screening process, with an in-person (typically filmed) interview.

I know a couple of people who went through that process, and they said they were told that they had to "demonstrate that they were the kind of person who is willing to go the extra mile", whatever that means.

Both of them thought they killed it, but they were both disappointed when they were never called back. Shrug.

Either way, GL OP!

What follow up letter is this? I will just use a thesaurus and spell check etc if i need to, i'm no good at proper english as well if i'm honest lol.

Well i'm completely 100% motivated to learn more about poker, i have watched every episode of poker available on youtube etc and learned a lot from that, and every day playing live is a learning experience as well. Every time i make a mistake, or lose a big pot or whatever, i go through my play and think about what i did wrong or how i could have played a hand better, i think being young is a good thing for me as it gives me more time than everyone else to become even better. Don't know what else to be honest, i'm a pretty average guy who's dream it is to become a poker pro
Thanks for your honest response. We will take it into consideration and get back to you at a later date.

RG01 I’m not a fan of young lads your age starting out as poker pros right away. I think you should pursue a solid education to have a chance for a proper, well paid job if that poker pro thing doesn’t work out.

I think it was in Poker After Dark "the Cashgame" when Phil Laak asked Tom “durrrr” Dwan if he had thought as a child that he would once play high stakes poker on national television with famous poker pros. Do you know what he answered? “I had higher hopes” – think about that.

I mean it’s fine if you get that deal but keep in mind that poker isn’t the only thing in life. And you should definitely have a “Plan B”.

Posting on the ground floor of classic thread in the making. Good luck OP.

Remember that it's not just stellar results they are looking for - though it's good that you are getting a track record in more than one game. You also have to be a good rep for the company, presentable, media-friendly, etc. If you have NVG and BBV behind you though you can go a long way - just google Jared Huggins, you'll see what I mean.

Seems like a perfect match, I know for a fact that they're looking for pros to promote and support their brand.
