I haven't followed him in a long time. Based on this thread, I went and looked at his FB page. OMG. In a few of years, he has gone from someone who had fairly mainstream views to being on the absolute extremes.

many years ago i had a HU match with some idiot going at a 6max nlo8 table that had started to break up and this leatherass clown sat in with 40bb, punted pre with like KK26 or something, binked and insta-left. thus concludes all of my experience playing against dusty schmidt. with such bold and daring moves in his arsenal, it's no wonder he had a poker induced heart attack at like 31 years old.

all the equities run close pre in o8 so no hand is going to be abjectly terrible unless it's some middling or double paired trash, but you arent going to do well vs regs if youre just ripping in 40bb pre with every KK and a trash low draw- anyone with half a clue is gonna stop clicking their fold button, which you need in order to make that play profitable. i can call your shove with like literally everything i open, and you'll only have a shade over 50% vs the absolute bottom of my range

and GL maintaining your sanity if all you wanna do is flip for stacks every hand of every session. guess that's why basically all the old nlo8 regs/enthusiasts either went broke or moved on :P
