Benjamin Costello from Brisbane QLD scammed one of the high stakes players in the group for 1k+, whats really disgusting as others wrote, high stakes players are usually pricks...and this is the one guy that helped many people includeing myself, this HSNL player would allow players to sweat him and it was rarely to his benefit/ we would make him tilt at times, and mostly it was tremendous help us....., and Costello ruined this for all of us

I wanted to chime in as the owner of the vpn service. Yes, i did run a vpn service. And it did shut down with no notice. I was arrested during a trip to mexico because the kid i had brought along as a translator had drugs on him. You can read all about it here . I am in the proccess of refunding all those people who had paid for service but did not receive it because of this unfortunate incident.

I was also staking Janice, i provided him with a roll and a vpn account after his prior backer cut him off.

However, Janice was not involved with my VPN service in any way except as a client. He mentioned that he was promoting my site on his blog, and he would have received 20% commission for anyone that he referred to me. This was my standard referral commission and was on my website and available to anyone. As far as I remember, he never actually referred anyone.

Janice was playing on an account that I provided out of sweeden. As far as I can tell from email records, he started transfering money out of the account the day after I dropped out of contact (in early sept). Some of this money was to Drrunsick.

2 days after i was out of contact with him, he changed the email address on the account then apparently the PW.

From the emails I have, it looks like he won a couple grand playing off stake before this happened.

AORN, he cannot account for the original stake of $600 or the share of his winnings that he owes. When i asked him about the money, he claimed that drrunsick had stolen it and directed me to this thread, though i cannot see how that accusation is backed up. Also fwiw he claims to be homeless and living in his car right now. I consider the money to be lost at this point and have written it off.

Also, i find it interesting to note that early in this thread, Janice posts a skype conversation dated June 7, 2011 where hes claiming that this drrunsick fellow is a scammer.

However, the email records I have show that he was transferring money to DrRunsick as late as sept 8 2011 (which was when he changed the email address associated with the account.). So the story hes telling here doesn't track with the facts.

Given the timing, and the transfer records that I have, it looks like the stake money came from my account. So I was the backer that "he got the stake from." Unfortunately, i didnt know about it.

Nothing has been paid back, nor do i expect it to be Having spoken to janice, he did not seem to feel particularly "personally responsible" and certainly expressed no intention of paying me back.
