yes, because the on air host should be judged by her abilities to record with a cell phone on a selfie stick because that's going to be exactly how they'll film when it's done professionally... ffs man, there's so many valid things to critique but you chose that?

Why not up your pedant game and complain she didn't interview Chance in Japanese?

meh...

personality, interview skills >>> production quality.

I liked the format. made it all seem very natural and impromptu....which it was.

Papi, you might know this, but if these videos were embedded on something else – e.g. a website, Facebook – would views on that other platform still show up on YouTube? If not, then that might explain how few views she got.

But agree with everyone else, I hope she keeps it going.
If the videos are embedded the views still show up - this can be tracked in the analytics page on the back end, it will show you the source of views.

You can be the best interviewer in the world but if you're trying to start an individual content page, you have to understand how to market yourself, the content you make, how the platform you are operating on works, have patience and be extremely consistent to build up any audience.

She does not pay outsourcers $25 per 10,000 clicks, 2,000 likes and 500 subscribes to artificially inflate her likes, subscriptions and views counts.

I typed in Drea Renee on YouTube to see what all the commotion was about and literally about 10 different people came up with the same name.
Ahhm, great personality, charming and witty and pretty.
But it's no surprise she's not gaining any traction when she doesn't know basic marketing.

She needs to move into a field where she would stand out clearly and uniquely when she is searched for, where there are no other Drea Renee's, like, say, knitting.

Like, say, poker?
You're on to something.

Still nobody pointing out the obvious factor in her not thriving. It's not right, but it has hindered her.

Wow, you are so right, I thought I was the only one to recognise that her viewing figures had been held back by nobody knowing how to spell her name, so being unable to google search her to then sign onto her site. Or even if they manage to spell it correctly they have to try to untangle a lady of colour in poker from a lady of no colour knitting, as it is so easy to get them mixed up.

I am sure Phil Ivey will agree.
