Papi, you might know this, but if these videos were embedded on something else – e.g. a website, Facebook – would views on that other platform still show up on YouTube? If not, then that might explain how few views she got.
But agree with everyone else, I hope she keeps it going.
If the videos are embedded the views still show up - this can be tracked in the analytics page on the back end, it will show you the source of views.
You can be the best interviewer in the world but if you're trying to start an individual content page, you have to understand how to market yourself, the content you make, how the platform you are operating on works, have patience and be extremely consistent to build up any audience.
