Pretty sure the majority of 2+2 has lost more in one session than the hobo has in his life.

I actually do want to know how much the kid lost as he just mentioned there was nothing stopping him from reloading "20". How many times did he reload 20 to become completely broke? Assume his parents were PO'd about the whole stealing thing, kicked him out, etc.

Nuff said.

LOL at the personal attacks on mike's looks and giving LA's dorky azz a pass. Clearly biased.
Agreed.

That all being said, the video was good and if this type of documentary is going to exist, at least we get to see both sides, not just the degenerates.
So since people abuse guns, poker, liquor ext. does this mean that they should be prohibited from everyone, because it's bad?

This guy decides to blame poker for everything bad that's happened to him, opposed to acknowledging the fact that he abused poker, and that's why everything happened to him the way it did. I'm sure that he is all for the game being fully prohibited. Because he was unable to control himself, he thinks that therefore it must be impossible.

It sounds like you think people can't be responsible for their own actions, thus need a nanny-state with government telling us what we can/cannot do. It seems pretty pathetic if this is the world you'd rather live in.

Walking across the country does nothing, it's an empty gesture, that allows that guy to disguise himself as a victim. Not that this guy lost a lot of money, but rather, the use of online poker caused problems in his school life, and relationships. That's his fault.

If he wants to take responsibility, get back to school, and perhaps he has a gambling problem, in which case get help. Most of all get off the camera and stop acting like a martyr, this is the best degen you can find?

Really interesting hearing leatherass talking, but what a stupid decision to have the loser guy. I understand they are trying to show both sides of the coin, but I don't really see this as the same coin.

What is wrong with people? The world isn't black and white you know. -Ev players aren't all seeking redemption for their lost rolls. Some just stop depositing, or they gamble a number which is irrelevant to them in life terms.

So we have a poker player being juxtaposed with a thief. Who made this crap????

I don't think I've ever actually heard or seen dusty other than his pix in cardplayer... i was quite suprised and taken aback a bit when he came on screen - especially that dorky intro working out!??!?! oh man dusty -- really??

anyway I agree with others - don't make that dog walk across the country just because of your bad decisions azz!

3 things

Does anyone know whats the track playing at about 3:00. I need that funk.

That story leatherass told was quite different than what he has said before about being a flat broke bonus whore starting off

Poker is not that amenable to film whether documentary or drama. Rounders is the only good poker movie. That's it. Why? Because it had compelling characters. The action itself in a poker game couldn't be more boring (x1000 for a non-poker player) and neither could degenerate sob stories or nits grinding away.

If you were directing your comments towards me, re-read my post you quoted. You made the exact same point I did to a T. Those things aren't bad....people are bad who abuse them. Take responsibility for your own actions. And NO we don't need the nanny state telling us what to do. Again, the exact point I was making!

Can't watch the clip atm, but why is this?

Dogs like walking - one of the most usual causes of miserable dogs in the western world, is owners that don't walk them enough.

So, unless we're talking about a dog with health issues, walking on a surface that would hurt their feet and/or going too fast for too long (which is unlikely if the guy they're with is walking), I don't see why this would be an issue?

If otherwise treated well, most dogs would love this kind of thing.
