Do Not Play @ Americas Card Room!!!

They make you verify everything when you ask to cash out, it takes them 1 month to look over your id, cc, and a current bill. Then they ask for a different bill, id, or cc after the month is up saying they can't accept it. So after they failed to accept my paper work I made 5 copies in every direction and format used to send documents. Took them 1 more month to ask for more paper work to verify who you are. Attempt to not let you cash out. This is not a site you want your money on, nor having your personal information.

They also operate a sports book and casino, making them huge targets for the DOJ to come down on, your money is not segregated, customer service is a total joke they don't even know English, the casino is set up to an unfair advantage for the house beyond the normal advantage, dealer average hand in blackjack is 20.1, sample size is only 200 hands I know its not a huge sum of hands played. But it is enoughto figure out not to play it.

To sum it all up if you win you won't get paid, and if a problem occurs they will not handle it. So play at your own risk I would advise not playing there!!!
I began playing on DR about a month after BF and have had a good experience there. I began playing at Merge at the same time.

I'd like to say regarding the first paragraph: my verification process was easy and fast, much like it was on Merge. Perhaps it has changed, but my experiences with support have been fine. It's hard to know if this is their standard protocol or if your case was some kind of aberration due to an incompetent CSR or just a fluke screw-up. I would be surprised if they made verification very hard most of the time. Support on any site is usually freaking flawless when it comes to getting you signed up and depositing. Usually you don't have problems with internet support until then, y'know?

I'll skip the losing in BJ talk as you admit your sample size means nothing and I don't play in the casino anyway. While you list having a sportsbook and a casino as a bad thing because it makes them a target for the DOJ; I think it's a good thing. I don't think this makes them any more of a target than they already are at the moment, but you also get a lot of fish that don't really know how to play poker and just want to gamble.

Cashouts have been very quick as well for me. I haven't had any of the problems you seem to have had.

This is a good site to play on, IMO, if you're a recreational player like me that doesn't play very high. The competition is soft but there's just not that much traffic. I don't have to worry about the DOJ that much (btw people always forget this has been a danger ever since the UIGEA went into effect and act like BF was the wake-up call that maybe it's not safe to keep a big roll online) because I have a small roll that I can afford to lose. In any case, this is something you'll have to deal with everywhere as an American.

Guess I better stop. I can hear the dim shouts of "Shill! Shill!" getting closer...
