Well yeah its co-branding essentially.

Having your brand associated with the largest poker forum is major for your company.

Either post your comments about liking and enjoying the segment, or post your comments about why you did not like it, along with any constructive criticism. Anything other than that is just pure jealous butt-hurt trolling. Not calling anyone out.... ahlkoi*moki*ekithyhjy

Nice job btw.

Topic for segment #2:

Is Doug angle shooting the 2+2 community?

I don't get why people are hating on Doug for having Upswing with 2p2. He gets to advertise his site while doing something fun for the community. Enjoy it instead of being a jealous hater.

Great job, Doug.

I got dropped by Doug because of this. It seems more than reasonable to me. He wants dedication and passion. If you don't have it then it's not worth his time to teach/stake you.

I really don't understand everyone's outrage with angle shooting. The main angle Doug referenced was one where player A pretends that player B called and says flush implying he has a flush. Player B says he didn't call and the dealer acknowledges so. This causes player B to fold thinking he made an easy laydown. This shouldn't be illegal in my opinion. That's just gamesmanship. Maybe there are some angles that I'd think should be illegal, but nothing comes to mind.

When I'm at a poker table I'm acutely aware that people are likely to be deceptive and don't put much stock in what they say or do. This reminds me of that hand on Pokerstars Big Game where Phil Hellmuth asks Tony G if he looked at his cards like 5 times and based solely on Tony saying he hasn't Hellmuth goes all in. Phil then gets mad at Tony for lying. They're playing against each other in a game of partial information. Why the hell would Tony G help Hellmuth? It's insane to take someone at their word at a poker table and then get mad when they lied.

I thought it was good. My only advice is to try to speak a little more slowly.

That is the number one piece of advice that I give when teaching trial advocacy.

Content was interesting, although I do agree that a segment based on 2+2 threads probably could use some trolling type commentary - if you take NVG too seriously it will come across a bit weird.

Good luck with this.

You guys are overplaying your hand imo. That kind of thing only works with people with weak learning systems. The Empire has a proven track record of training people to compete at the highest levels. Its safe to assume they have a very efficient learning system, that means data-driven with excellent GTO defaults to fall back on where required information is lacking. Unless the bet is some kind of shill for a larger hustle, I mean you guys don't think they can't get the data, right? Plug it in, bang, you're hit. (Hint: 3:1 they already have it, not to mention all the analyses which are equivalent for all NL variants) I don't even remember the exact terms of the bet but if its anything short of "you're the best player in the game within 6 months from start at 95% confidence level" its bad all day long.

Why not run that bet with Renegs or some live/Bovada donk who might imprudently mistake circumstance for genius?

1) You better change it to Bi-weekly or Monthly if you want it to last
2) Although 17 min. is not long when your just relaxing watching ,but it seems you went over same thought you originally explained 2-3 times. Could have cut video to 13-15 min
3) If your gonna do this GET A SET MAN ! ..Standing in front of your moms blinders just isn't cutting it. if you feel more comfortable standing get a mural made that says 2+2 or even a good photo of yourself. Other wise spend $1000 and get a table and chair so when you have a guest.
4) Throwing cut photos in like you did with the lost ID guy works and can a ton of humor if done correctly.
5) overall its good for 2+2 ...Good job.

Whoa!

I never said i doubt he'd beat 500.

I doubt thought that he would crush it nearly as as hard as 90% people think

I enjoyed it quite a bit, especially the part on staking, which has some great advice in it. Would like to see more topics being broached each week. Also maybe a weekly segment where you break down a high stakes hand or situation.

I think for a poker player, you have a great presence as an on-camera personality. And as an on-camera personality you are an above-average poker player.

Liked it very much.

Now big CL by the last 3 of the tag team event

Enjoyed it. I would make sure you give personal insight/experience of the high stakes world when appropriate as that is I believe one of the main reasons people such as myself will tune in. You relating your Brad Booth experience to Eli Elezara is one example.

Misguided attempt at humor. Since he and Mercier have been going back and forth this summer. And since Jason proposed to gf, I thought it was funny that Doug won the event with his upswing partner Ryan.
