Great idea Doug. What abot adding a line on the bottom of the video during wsop/coop where you post winners of the event. Like Event#21: 10k$ stud winner player xy. As it is in this video

Such as your VPN horse stable, from just after black friday. Where you knowingly stake people(maybe more then one not sure, I know one for sure) that play from VPN's in the US to 3rd party accounts from the UK for cash games on pokerstars. Maybe you were the one that told them how to VPN, cant say 100%, but defintely you knew about this person VPN'ing. Then when they don't put enough you volume, you drop them, lolz
I never backed people for pokerstars within America, I'm not sure where you are getting your information from. This one of the reasons the vast majority of people I have worked with have not been Americans.

Other than that, ty for not being Limon... did I mentionTwitch please?
I am a little bit confused, when was I on PNIA?

As far as twitch goes, after the WSOP madness dies down I will do some twitching again.

That wasn't really my fault, I started the podcast because SrslySirius asked me to do it. Then quickly after it began, he stopped working with Bluff and I didn't want to carry on doing it with other people.

So yes, this will last longer as we already have 2 episodes!

I recall Timex refunding some of the mark-up on the WCOOP $51k because he didn't feel like his ROI was high enough to warrant that mark-up, which I thought was odd more than anything. The market determined his value (he sold via an auction format, which I think is great) so he should have just went with it. He gave up value by refunding some of that mark-up.

Jason Somerville commented last night on the WSOP PPC stream that one reason he chose not to sell action for the $50k PPC is because he does not think he is a winning player in the field even though he's sure that he would've been able to sell the action. Obviously, by not selling, Jason passed up on value, but he implied that he would have felt unethical selling action just so he could go play to have a good time as a self-labelled "recreational player."

"Infotisements" are marketing 101, I'm mostly surprised that Mason is so out of touch he doesn't realize what this is. Because given his past history, there's no way he'd allow an advertisement on 2+2 without being paid for it.

The content that I am creating here is based around 2+2 content. The topics are in general threads on the forum, and there is no random plugging going on. It is obviously great for 2+2 for there to be a youtube series on content from their forums.

So you're saying that if UpswingPoker was not a thing, and it wasn't "sponsoring" the show, and there weren't "upswing poker" logos in the background, you'd still be doing it?

Zero shot.

Good on you, I don't blame someone for trying to promote their venture. Mostly just shocked Mason is on board.

I don't see the relevance as to me owning a company here. Why does it matter for the sake of this content if I own this company or not, if the content is going to be based around 2+2 content that people enjoy watching.

Can't believe Mason didn't delete and ban the member who made the following post that included a link to a poker site without paying for the ad spot

moki, you made your statement. Sounds like MM is fine with this type of post by Doug. Did you miss that MM posted in this thread?

Anything more will be worse than trolling and should gain a day or three vacation. In fact I am surprised that MM hasn't already done this to/for you. There...you can be surprised, and I as well.

moki,

obviously mason shouldn't and doesn't approach things black and white. this is mutually beneficial. having the best poker players in the world being active on your site, and promoting it on youtube etc, is a good thing.
and obv this was discussed and doug got the approval beforehand...

Given how MM didn't like it when DNegs made those posts about a charity event, can see how any mention of Upswing Poker, even if it was just the party, might cause a bit of surprise.

MM must see this as different, in that 2+2 is getting the bulk of the free advertising out of this - and youtube vids might even have the potential to reach a larger audience, to possibly grow poker.
