No, no, no. It's almost like you don't get it. That wasn't communism, it was "dictatorship," or "state-capitalism" (lol) or Nationalism. What we want to do is a "social democracy," or "neo-Marxism" or something else which is eerily, identical, but not the same cause of the over use of these misnomers.

There is no reasoning with this, either with the left or the right; and thus, we are in the same circular pattern of nowhere in today's political climate, in the same way their arguments go in circular patterns.

I am not referring to East Germany. It should be obvious from the rest of my post.

No idea why you keep talking about East Germany. I don't care about Germany after WWII, they started the war and suffered, who cares, they ended up pretty well off anyway. I am talking about countries who were victims of aggression and then got double whammy by getting under the tyranny of Soviet Union. Think Poland and Baltic states.

My parents as most people back then worked in state owned ****ty inefficient companies as that was the only options unless you were well connected or willing to do illegal businesses. My grand-grandparents and grandparents were deported to Siberia by communists, their family houses and all other belongings confiscated. They were able to came back after many years by a program of deportations. They weren't able to come back to their motherland but ended up in different part of Poland.

Go to Poland and talk with anyone born under communism to see it isn't propaganda but reality. I am lucky to only lived first decade of my life under that system.
I mean, maybe you deny Holocaust as well. People died to fight that system. I was born during the time my parent were students and ****ing tanks were on the streets. People were using pillows to secure doors so the tear gas doesn't go in as there were children (like me and my sister) inside. Go **** yourself.

Hard to imagine people come from nothing and become productive members of society isn't it? I pay more than 100x in taxes than average person in my country. My sister is US citizen today, got into American college by learning English by reading books to herself (we didn't have Internet nor money for language courses nor anyone to speak English to nor even any TV channels in English), got 800-680 in SAT while going through completely different education system here. Got accepted into American college, worked to support herself, her first accommodation was windowless room in a basement of Queens. She made it to VP in a major bank before she turned 30. She married a minority immigrant with similar story. You can guess they don't vote for socialists coming from the least privileged background possible but they still pay enough in taxes to support tens of less capable per year.

My family lived through that. I lived through that. We are successful people today. Big part of it is realizing how destructive communism was and how lucky we are to live in free world where everyone got a shot even coming from literally 0 and being born in literal ****hole as long as that ****hole came under American influence.

Your whole post is the most offensive and ignorant thing I ever read on twoplustwo. Not only you deny history my family lived and some cases died in but you also insult them for that. It's on par with Holocaust denial - aggressive lunacy.

Communism can only be kept together by brutal dictatorship because it goes against human nature. It's especially infuriating when Americans defend communism. If you are born in America you are ****ing privileged even if you are born in the worst ghetto as one of 8 children of a single parent you still have more opportunity than people who are born under actual communism. Maybe it takes thugs with guns loading your family on a train to the middle of nowhere to understand that. I wish you won't live through that.

A poker site that does not favor 94 h vs AK d. What a waste all the books etc. BS seems to win online or maybe u need to rewrite what the best hands are. I play hard on the sub sites (subscription sites Pure Play, NLOP etc) the hands we were taught to win don't hardly.
