The earliest version of the copypasta tells the story with electronic musician Flying Lotus. It was posted on hip hop forum kanyetothe[1] on September 1st, 2012.

No, their real session is as long as they live, whether or not they spend some portion of that time playing poker.

Some players should play during as much time as possible,

some people should play only at times they perhaps find it entertaining to do so,

some other people should never play poker at all.

Have you guys ever considered that you just suck at implementing upswing strategies?

I thought about saying "as long as they live" but I thought it was way too hyperbolic fwiw, especially considering the person I was talking to.

Pretty sure that was his point. Not that Doug's advice was bad.

strats which are built on exploiting the playerpool are always superior to doug's gto approach in any game. Best learning materials come from the best up-to-date stables which collect massive amounts of playerpool data and form their strategies accordingly. Nevertheless doug's free youtube videos are good for anyone who lacks basic poker fundamentals (besides being entertaining).

>Become professional poker player and win acclaim of poker world
>Start coaching website teaching GTO style of play

>Everyone plays same robotic, predictable game based on mathematics

Over what sample? And just because you lost doesn't mean that there isn't alot of great content on Upswing that can change the way you look at the game.

Is this Doug's hidden gaming channel? I stumbled across one of this guy's videos and it sounds exactly like Doug if he pinched his nose while he talked. Cadence, word selection, everything is a dead ringer.

I've watched a lot of Doug's poker videos, and once I heard it, I couldn't unhear it.

Doulg (I always put that "l" in there when searching on YouTube for some reason) is a legit player and his videos are first and foremost entertaining. He doesn't do videos angry and he manages to poke (not a pun) fun at himself as much as he does at things he doesn't agree with.

I also really like his live playing style, he really does seem to liven up the table atmosphere. It almost, this is crazy, seems like he's having fun. Woa!

Looking forward to seeing him go all the way to second in the Poker Masters tourney on PokerGo.

I think we people complain a bit too much about free **** basically.

There's plenty of evidence of face blindness on the internet, like when people post celebrity "look-alikes" of random people that look nothing like them, besides obvious stuff like hair and skin tone.

Could there be voice deafness too?

I've said it many times, picking out look-a-likes that even sorta look like the person in question is a skill very few possess. It's amazing how terrible people are at this

Epic commentary for KOTH II, Dougie Polkz. The breaks with Manz were hilarious Polkz really brought to his limits, haha!

Manz is so awful. Tries way too hard for attention and is very rarely funny. Never want to see that guy again.

Agree after watching some more but I still really enjoyed that break with one chug doug and his emotional breakdown over tommy dwanz

I would love to see a real crusher at KOTH btw. like one of those germans, esp after Sontheimer calling Doug an average reg.
