Somebody asked him that on a Facebook live or something awhile back shortly after The Big One for One Drop was announced that it was coming back next year. He said that he would probably play it, but he wasnt for sure.

Would be super super surprised if Doug didn't play that after the recent Crypto upswing

I posted not too long ago about how I watched one of his videos and was pretty entertained but I was not too sure that I would become a regular viewer.

I have now watched his last 7-8(?) Crypto videos and I enjoy them A LOT!

Top 5 Altcoins might be the best crypto vid yet. Say what you like about Doug's crypto knowledge (well I do anyway), but he knows how YouTube vids work.

Doug, throughout there are a lot of recommended coins that you say you're unfamiliar with. I am sure you will get to a lot of these cryptocurrencies, but I'd really like to see you delve into the altcoin market.

Well he's openly advertised on Twitter to employ an expert to advise him in altcoins, and the technology behind new projects, to give him accurate info about them that he can present to his audience, so we'll no doubt see what you request down the line.

Wondering what Doug's end game on the Crypto vids is? Is there good revenue in YouTube subs paid or is he aiming for something much bigger, e.g. opening his own Crypto trading exchange.

Or perhaps Crypto is another long term self and Upswing brand building thing, plus he enjoys everything about Crypto so much.

In her 455K viewed Top Picks for 2018 video she knows very little about what her top coins actually do and and is learning what they do in real time, during broadcast, as she reads directly off coins website.

It's the Vegan Gains strategy: bash everyone established so all their viewers look at your stuff. He's not wrong though, a lot of these guys are complete shills and giving awful advice. So he can benefit from this and also educate some people, pretty good stuff.

I think Doug is going to need to cool it with the poker references, eventuall his crypto audience will be bigger than poker and they'll all have no idea what black Friday is.

I don't think it matters how many poker references Doug makes in his videos; he will have the biggest and most influential Crypto channel in a matter of time. (I am willing to bet on this if anyone wants to take the other side??) The other people creating content are not very good at the content side of things. The level of content + level of overall intelligence that Doug has will help him attract many of the smart people in the Crypto world which in turn will attract everyone else. As time goes on, Doug will become more and more knowledgeable about the Crypto world and further increase the edge he already has.

Right now it is super GTO to leverage all the other Crypto YouTubers. They have built up huge audiences by not knowing how to take the google chrome browser off the video.

I think that it's good for Doug to work in poker jargon and references because this might be a great way to get new people interested in the poker world. It also gives him another way to stand out in an ever growing space of content creators.

Its kind of hard not to be the most informative person doing popular videos.

The split seems to be people saying make $1mill from $1000 from bitconnect and very dry tech sided channels with small amounts of viewers.

If people are willing to watch Trevon James then the bar for humanity has slipped even further than i thought.

I can tell you for sure that doug is just a bad reg atm, his portfolio is pretty much garbage wt the exception of BTC and NEO. Wax, DBC, and Storm may be ok but def not what any of the OGs in the game are accumulating atm. The fact that doug has Pivx on there proves that he is just clicking buttons and probably doesn't even realize PIVX is I think the only coin with an unlimited supply.

Its not that his portfolio is going to lose money, there aren't that many projects that even lose, over 1/3 of the top 64 coins on CMC got 1000% or better last year. The real loss is not haveing your capital concentrated on the ones that hit 4000%+

The best spots in crypto for ROI are ICX, NEO, VEN, AION, Honorable mentions IOTA, AMB, ELF, BNB, thank me later.

Problem is with Crpyto advice is that there's no way for anyone to know that you're not just clicking buttons either and giving **** advice...

Anytime somebody makes video 15min+ where you have two options sell/buy is working in brainwashing.
