the only point ohheycindy was trying to make is that doug generally doesn't give enough credit to a good solid exploitative approach, and when you look at solvers anyway you can see that the best exploitative strategies are not THAT far off GTO

To call Doug a live fish is ridiculous.

However, the GTO sims he uses IMO sometimes need adjustments for live play/individual live spots. E.g. in the QQ hand the JJ/TT probabilities were too high. Maybe they're perfect for on line aggro 6 max games.

Possibly JKoon made a bad play as many players would pass on such a dry board thinking best case scenario is AK/KQ suited.

Doug himself said that Koon flatting the 4bet pre with AA/KK is fine for balance. Therefore when facing his c/r shove 99/KK/AA are a bigger part of his range than Doug's sims indicate.

Koon 4-bet TT that same game, so he has that in his range and Doug would have him dominated with his QQ.

Not saying Koon would follow the exact same line post-flop as he had with AA of course.

He didn't 4 bet with AA, he flatted Doug's 4 bet.

If he had JJ/TT is he not more likely to check call the flop to keep any bluffs in and not get stacked by QQ+.

Maybe I'm looking at this too simplistically but I do think players generally play much tighter ranges in a live game particularly when the whole session has very few hands dealt, meaning playing a GTO looser style can be exploitable by a good live TAG player.

I am not surprised at all, he looks smug and you can tell he is a pathetic human beeing. This is normal behaviour in Doug's crew i think, and these kind of jokes will be on the menu all the time i am sure. I dont see Doug in that light, but pretty close.

Not sure what it takes, the mental setup of this guy to post this, a 13 yo adolescent could probably do this as he would think its funny and could get away with it just for being 13, but this grown man posting this is something i just dont get. Whether they are or not doesn't make a difference. Fees obviously thinks they're handicapped and that's the only reason he posted this. I'd love to hear him try to spin this with any other explanation.

No. The definition of "GTO" is that it's an unexploitable strategy.
