As for the 100K goal, Doug Polk Poker has 14 videos with at least 1 million viewers, with the Antonius-Durrrr set-over-set episode leading the way at 2.3 million. His 50th most viewed video is the February 23, 2017 analysis of a flush-vs-flush hand at LATB: 535,773 views as of this post. I don't know the total number of videos with at least 100K but he averages about 219K per upload.

Negreanu's channel doesn't have quite the view numbers, but still well above the 100K threshold. His No. 1 video is the hand involving Sara Chafak's bluff against Ronnie Bardah on Shark Cage (1.74 million views), with "Poker Ranges Explained" and "Top 5 Reasons You're Losing At Poker" in second and third at around 1.6 milly each. His 50th most viewed was Day 48 of last year's WSOP VLOG series, in which he garnered about 156K in watches. Negreanu's average is about 117K among 350 uploads.

One thing that's interesting: Negreanu's estimated daily, monthly and yearly estimated earnings are pretty much twice that of Polk's. There are any number of factors for this, including the source country, the price of ads, the average watch time, etc.

It's quite possible Doug has had more videos demonetized because YouTube seems to be anti-poker, and his content shows much more actual play overall. Doug has far more views, but Negreanu has more subscribers (454K to 294K). Every creator is big on getting people to subscribe, and that's a good reason why. Finally, Negreanu's channel has been on the site since 2006, while Doug got on there ten years later, which means DNegs may simply have enjoyed more traffic in the pre-Adpocalypse days.

But I'm totally guessing on all of this.

Purely from practice and improvement standpoint, playing 25k hands of HU against a former HU crusher would probably improve his HU game a lot. I see a potential benefit there and, if he happens to win, of course he can rub it in Polk's face from now until eternity.

The flipside is that Polk is going to roast him non-stop if he wins, but that was going to happen either way. Regardless of the outcome, if this match actually happens, I will be...

You realize live viewing of an event is vastly different than number of views on a video over time right? For one those aren't unique views. Averaging 117k views per video would not translate anywhere near to 100k viewers for a live streamed event.
