You could not find one hand. Not even, say...

On the 170th hand, he put in a four-bet to $9,600 preflop with Kc9h but was trailing the AsQd of Polk. Polk called and faced a continuation-bet of $4,000 on the 10d 3d Js flop. He called again, bringing a 6h turn. Negreanu bet small again with $5,600, and Polk called once more.

On the 4c river, Negreanu announced all in for $34K. Polk could only send his cards to the muck with a sigh.

It has a lot of turn drills for different spots, where you play against the solution. It deals you into a spot and then you choose between check, check back, check/fold or check back with the nuts. The app then evaluates your play and gives you a rating depending on how far or close you were to GTO.
So the same thing as DTO poker which has been on the market for ages?

So the same as multiple other apps already on the market, innovative!

halfway through the 3.5 hour stream and this is legitimately one of the most entertaining poker videos I've ever seen, the conversations between Polk and DNegs alone are incredibly interesting (like their discussion of Bonomo, etc.), but also the gameplay . . . I really, really wish they do more 200-hand sessions live, view count is pretty solid (300k in less than a day) so I'm sure Poker GO would be interested.

Daniel tanking with trip 6's hu in a 3bet pot 100 bb deep, is a nitroll.

In fairness, he verbally announced "I'm almost certain to call, I just want to be certain I'm not missing anything."

yeah, i don't think it was egregious. in the match, daniel talked about having the "live pro" superstitions about being coolered. i kinda felt like he was legit preparing to lose a big one even though immediately most of us were thinking "dude say call NOW". also 200/400 hu live vs doug is scary so he was nervous i'm sure.

We've all been there.
So make up you mind, man. Either the poker gods have Dougie Fresh bad cards or DNegs outplayed him. I’m an Upswing Lab OG. I can tell expert play when I see it.

Can’t believe he folded river

Sure you block KQ and Q9 but all of the diamonds and a million straight draws missed not to mention all the Kxs bluffs, back door club bluffs.

And what’s DNegs value range here TT JJ QQ KK AA? And we block QQ AA... so most of his value range is sets (hard to make) or KK?

I can almost guarantee he makes that call online away from the cameras and not face to face with villain

and how about the very first hand where Polk C/R bluffed, got picked off, and said himself it was bad

Does this count as getting outplayed or Polk just being dumb

I remember this hand. Daniel simply saw through Doug. May have used some of Hellmuth’s white magic.

Doug casually accuses Dnegs of playing the OMC schtick several times. I mean listen to Dan use the phrase "that table tamer thingy" like he's some lvl 1 fishcake. I'm inclined to believe his overall demeanor was meant to level Polk somehow some way. The online portion will be very interesting, especially since even 2 tables of HU can be quite overwhelming. What's daniel gonna do when he's facing 2 allins and he doesnt have trips?

Anyone else notice how the Doug Polk fanboys screech for the mods and try to silence any legitimate criticism of Doug Polk the person and Doug Polk the poker player?

It's almost like you aren't allowed have a View in the News, Views and Gossip forum.

Doug brought his C- game and embarrassed himself on PokerGo in front of 25,000 live viewers. At the end, he looked like he was about to burst into tears.

It's not even like Daniel was sunrunning. There was no set over set, nut flush vs boat or super nasty 2 outters after getting the money in way ahead.

Doug played extremely poorly.

Daniel was super exploitable by checking nearly every turn and Doug played like Vanessa Selbst punting off chips when his bluffs made no sense.

If you really think Dnegs is some gigantic heads up fish, why would you try bluffing a fish?

Completely agree on all points.

HU cash is so great to watch & DNegs getting of to a flier is the ideal start to the match. It would suck from a spectacle point of view if he were stuck 250k 500 hands in or something.

In hindsight, it's a shame the first 1k hands or so weren't live. That was surprisingly entertaining for 3-4hrs & they were just starting to heat up.

I doesnt surprise me Doug was pleasant to Daniel (I said earlier ITT that any1 who thinks he really hates DNegs is a mug), although it did surprise me DNegs reciprocated, given what has gone on
