It looks like Daniel's Napoleon Complex has got the better of him. It would be nice if he doesn't get his ass handed to him but I can't see it being possible in this spot. No way can timex make a line here that doesn't include a massive handicap.

tbh I had a laugh reading Dnegs tweet about being compared to Clyde Drexler from his MJ status. Pretty witty response.

tbh he's handling things much better then Polk... sure both love attention but Polk's challenge is totally in his favour.

I can see both sides here. Polk should make a nice pay day off this but people saying Daniel has no upside are wrong. The money will be insignificant to him.

As already voiced in the thread nobody expects him to win so if he loses it will be soon be forgotten. Polk on the other hand will be a laughing stock if he loses this match and you can bet your ass Daniel will be hiring the best people possible to get him as match ready as possible.

Gonna be fun to rail. Won't make much of a dent in Negreanu's networth I'd guess. I mean, losing a milly probably hurts, but it doesn't change anything real.

You know he didn't delete his channel right? The videos are still there, getting views - they keep paying him every month.... he was getting 40k views a day before he dropped the video. Its not loads, but nice little payout for no work.

I don't really care who wins but I find that most poker players overestimate their edge.

So from that perspective, I'm interested in the sense of this challenge confirming or debunking my thoughts on this topic. I will be keeping a close eye on the flucutations.

If Polk doesn't win, I am speculating that we will hear excuses such as "25k isn't a large enough sample size, etc"
