I think it is great that you are taking the time out to learn and study the game.

I want to make it clear that I am not necessarily against triple range merging, but it is something that does not fit my style and I do not need to use it. My game comes more from observation and knowledge, and is less based on theory and books.

What works for me may not work for someone else. If you have success triple range merging and you feel it helps your game, then continue to do it!

I believe that innate poker instinct comes from the soul. This is why I do not like to play on line that much. I prefer the live game where you can better manipulate certain situations. I feel that it is far more important to know the particular rules of each casino and what you can and cannot get away with than it is to learn to triple range merge.

I believe that I am still one of the top 10 tournament players in the world today, and welcome all the young pros out there to join me on the live felt...I may be able to still teach you a trick or two.

I was in Vegas recently and the very first day I saw him walking by himself on the strip next to Outback wearing crappy all white tennis shoes and jean cargo shorts.
