The funniest thing about this story is the fact that he pushed the chips forward 'in a dramatic way'. I can so imagine him doing it lol. What a toolbox.

Played with Doug in the 25k today, and everything about him rubbed me the wrong way.

The part about him that would have gone unnoticed had I not known about his toolboxesque ways, was that everytime he placed a bet he would use oversize chips so that the dealer would give him change, and he could amass a large stack of small denomination chips to make himself look/feel like a beast. Naturally, he had to make change for people quite often, and when asked to do so he would reluctantly comply, but made it obvious he was annoyed that his large stack of physical chips he 'earned' would be shrinking.

Agreed. I hope he makes a televised final table or something at the wsop. Everyone in his cheering section could be holding random tools. Hammer, tape measure, wrench... That would make my day.

Tony Dunst just had his aces cracked by Doug Lee's 7x 4x . Lee made a straight on a board of 9x 6x 3x 5x to crack Dunst's aces and send him to the rail. Lee now has over 75,000 chips.

Doug Lee has been cruising merrily along so far today, having amassed roughly 100,000 chips. But it isn't all sunshine and gum drops for Lee. With 6,500 chips already in the middle, he bet 3,100 on a Q 4 8 A J board His lone opponent raised to 9,100, a raise Lee quickly called. His opponent turned over J J for a rivered set of jacks. Lee slowly shook his head several times and then paid off the raise. He pitched his cards in to the dealer face up, revealing 8 8 for a flopped set of eights.

Lichtenberger Chews 'Em Up and Spits 'Em Out

On a flop of 9 5 3 Andrew Lichtenberger checked to Doug Lee. A bet of 12,000 was fired out by Lee and then slowly, Lichtenberger made the call.

The turn brought the J and Lichtenberger checked to Lee once again. Lee quickly checked behind, not opting to bet the turn.

The river completed the board with the 9 pairing it. Lichtenberger methodically checked and then Lee went into his stack and grabbed some chips. He fired a bet of 23,000 and then Lichtenberger went into the tank. After about a minute, Lichtenberger moved all in. Lee stood from his chair and seemed both surprised and disgusted with the shove by Lichtenberger. After a moment, he said call.

Lichtenberger tabled a full house after flopping a set holding the 3 3 Lee turned from the table and didn't seem to believe what he saw. He then revealed that he held the A 9 for trip nines on the river.

Lichtenberger had Lee covered and all of the chips were sent over to the kid that placed 18th in the WSOP Main Event last year. Lichtenberger now has 375,000 chips and has taken over the chip lead.
