ive seen doug out here a few times... earlier today playing blackjack for 1k a hand at the bellagio. I wanted him to lose, but he won like 5 out of 6, so I left hoping that it would jinx him.

On to a better story... im semi-deep in one of the venetian deepstacks. I have probably the most attractive dealer that the venetian has, dealing. Blonde young, prolly like 24. So Doug Lee walks by and gives her a wink and like some gay little facial expression. Im sitting in the 1 seat so I ask her if she knows that guy? And she goes, yeah thats doug lee, we are really good friends. Hes a poker pro, hes been on tv a lot. Youve never heard of him? I just pretend like I never have and she is like shocked. It was pretty funny in person because at first I thought he was just being douchey and trying to hit on this dealer.

Hes always just like lurking around. Bothers me.

Had a run in with Doug Lee at the wsop this year. Was waiting for a 1k sat to start when he walked in to sign up for a 325 (must not be that robusto...?).

The lady in charge of organizing the sats and seats fans out the seat cards face down as is done for everyone. He twists her hand up, bending it at the wrist, in order to see each seat number, thinks for 5 seconds and picks one to his liking. Im just staring with a huge smile on my face. The lady rolls her eyes and decides not to stop him from his usual angleshooting.

A couple minutes later i realize i have to get a pic with Doug since i love this thread so much and have never posted in it. I yell "Doug!" from a couple tables away as he's going to sit down and he looks at me funny without saying anything. I make a picture motion and ask if i can get one with him. He doesnt say anything but turns his head and gives me the finger curl "come here" motion.

I get my friend to take our pic and i ask him how his WSOP is going. Instead of answering he asks where im from. Instead of answering i tell him im a big fan and i read about him on the internet a lot (hint hint).

One HUGE mistake i make is forgetting to ask to wear his ring in the pic or to at least make him do the fist thing with his ring. FAIL, i know.

I must say.. it took me quite a while to get through 93 pages of posts. Several grueling hours as a matter of fact. However every single page brought new and unexplored hilarity to my life.

Thanks to everyone who contributed. I'm working on a few photoshops to make my small contribution to this devoted 2+2 pastime.

I'll help you out since I just recently found this out myself (with help from another poster).

Go to My 2+2 at the top and then Edit Options.

Scroll to the Thread Options part and make the number of posts per page 100.

Now you'll only have fourteen pages of the Doug Lee toolbox thread to click through!

The Doug doesnt take questions... only asks them! lolz
