I hope someone Bing Blang Blaow's him out of the ME today. He's instantly down on the day, so it should be soon.

As said above, let the journey be your reward. It's not nearly as funny to read that he played a $20 hand of blackjack as it is to read three paragraphs about him taking the time to get a marker for thousands of dollars, change for 100 red, play one hand, and then scoop up the chips and walk away. Also, hearing that he's full of himself isn't nearly as interesting as reading 50 different stories of him assuming that people are asking to take pictures with him when they aren't.

Exactly, I promise anyone who hasn't read this thread, that it is definitely well worth your time to do so.

Agree and disagree with this. All the stories are great, and in context is the best way to read them, but the amount of posts that this thread generates (totally deservedly) that are simply: "LMFAO" "Genius" "OMG that's the funniest thing I've ever read" "that guy's such a toolbox" "what a dork" etc etc after quoting a long post over and over make it take a long time to read. Maybe if you could set 2+2 to give you all the posts on one page so you don't have to hit next page 115 times would help.

So maybe what i'm suggesting is not cliff's notes but actually a digest version of the thread so you can read the whole thing, but not have it take four days.

Note: I have read the entire thread and it is certainly worth it and I recommend anyone who hasn't do so.

Go to your Edit Options in your control panel and change your setting to "Show 100 posts per page".

okay this isn't as good as some of the others but here it goes.....

a couple years back, summer of 2007, I'm playing in the bellagio saturday tournament (which I satellited into) and none other then the craftsman special himself Doug Lee is seated at my table along with this loud obnoxious guy from boston, who I recognize from foxwoods as a regular.

Power Drill and the Bahhstan guy get into a hand after some pre-flop fireworks(dont remeber the specifics of the hand) but on 5th street the board is paired with a possible straight. Bahstan guy has check called the entire way down and now is 1st to act and checks again.

Box O' Husky's (Doug Lee-just making sure you know that is) says "ya know buddy, you hung in there with me the whole way and I think you may have just got there, but I don't think it's good enough" bets the pot.

Bahhstan guy insta-shoves and Douggy Poo insta-mucks.

Bahhstan guy laughs hysterically

Douggy the shed "I knew you had me"

Bahhstan- "If you knew I had you, then why did you bet the pot on the Riveraaah"

Douggy-"Blocker bet, it's a play most people at your level of play aren't familiar with"

Me- "Ummm I thought a blocker bet was like when you bet like....."

Doooogie-Points at me and laughs, then goes "this kid" mid sentence.

Me-says nothing, (crickets chirping)

Poker Fatheads
The Fathead website has a place where you can request new images and I've been trying forever to get them to make a Phil Ivey one. I'm leaving the link in hopes that 2+2 can send an overwhelming amount of requests and maybe we can get some poker players added to the list. The form is real easy and it takes less then a minute to fill out.

I mean C'mon they make tennis and WWE Fatheads so WTF?

Thanks BigErf

for that it'd just be easier to photochop the green lantern onto a picture of Doug Lee.

Still pretty new to this forum. I noticed a thread that was like 100 pages on him being a toolbox, i read the first couple of pages and it never explained why. In another thread DN even mentioned that doug was a toolbox. What did this guy do to piss off so many people?
