Don't know if this has been brought up yet, but does anyone else think the animated avatar on his site is supposed to represent an FTP avatar? It's already been pointed out that Doug wears FTP clothing all the time and the avatar might just be another device to further the perception that he's a Full Tilt pro. It goes through various emotions like an FTP avatar with the bonus of the bizarre head nod!

Played briefly with doug last week in the 100-200 at the commerce, but it was time enough for another toolbox moment:

As doug is racking up to leave he says, to nobody in particular, "I can only play BINGO with you people for so long, now I have to go play some REAL POKER". Some breathless fanboy sitting next to him now asks "What are you going to play?" to which he replys "I am going to play 25-50 no limit".

Hint for doug: If you are going to exaggerate the limit you intend to play make sure you use a limit actually spread in the cardroom you are in. Commerce spreads 20-40 NL, they do not spread 25-50.

Of course 5 minutes later I saw him minbuying into the 10-20 NL game right next to our table...
